Yup, Skylake is still consumer grade product so intel can't possibly self-pwn by not providing dual support for the chip to help consumers to slowly move over from DDR3 to DDR4, just like the DDR2 => DDR3 transition. If Skylake ONLY support DDR4 then GG intel :s13:

It's different from Haswell-E because that's the extreme series chips, whack DDR4 only nvm one :s13:
