Custom PC Companies

Anyone has experience in terms of price and services with the following custom PC companies:

1. PC CARE & Solution (Nigel)
2. Servicist
3. Infinity Computer Singapore
4. catech / custompc.sg (from carousell)
5. mosaic_pc (from carousell)

Infinity will definitely be cheapest and good service guaranteed but no onsite warranty.

Have to ask yourself what you want first.

I am thinking to upgrade my current PC with my own specifications.

catech and custompc.sg are both the same guy, they have a physical shop at amk. got my rig from them, it's good for those who are budget conscious.

ya got local warranty, you can come back to them or individual parts with local warranty,can just go back to the distro to rma. Most of their components and parts assembled are from Tech Dynamic distro, so quite convenient to rma. Before i bought my rig, i compared to your list of other custom pc builders as well, theirs seems to be the cheapest at least to me.

I think xRenol is refering to warranty by the builder themselves, not to local distro. Meaning, if there is any issue, can the builder help us settle with local distro? Rather than ask us to ownself go find local distro. If item A has 7 yrs warranty, can the builder help service Item A for the next 7 years if necessary? Or just throw us to local distro? It makes a difference though.

I am referring to "mixed" warranty because I understand it is quite hard for builders to cover 3 to 5 years warranty. E.g. the builder provides 1 year warranty for all components for the first year and after that we go back to the respective distributor based on each component warranty.

ah ok ok, this one i not sure, maybe need to ask them, they are only running 1 man operation at the shop, the boss works on weekend, not sure if got such services, but they only say to me, anything can bring back to them, as my pc has been running fine, i have yet to go down to their shop. If ts is worried, can go for aftershock, pay abit expensive to have a peace of mind. get the 3 years onsite warranty maybe.

Just to clarify, I am fine with going back to the distributors for RMA but at least I want some sort of assurance/warranty after they build the PC that it is working for a period of time e.g. 7 days or 1 month.

ah ok, i think you can go back to them for the 1st month, they are quite friendly, i asked alot of questions to the boss, Kenneth, will always reply me no matter what, plus u can see the reviews at carousell.

does all these custom rigs come with receipts usually? no receipts how to register for warranty?
