does all these custom rigs come with receipts usually? no receipts how to register for warranty?

You will have to check with the seller as I understand do not issue receipt.
Just my two cents best get from SLS would be safer.

I was told i would be getting after ** and then it got delayed and eventually the seller ghosted me, he belongs to one of the list mentioned in the first post, if my hardware fails now, then all i will need to spend money to get another new PC...

Unfortunately it might be the case, even without receipt you
can check with service center.
Example the graphic card but where the stock is from is also another
question.

If it is imported, it may not be able to service locally.
Which is why I still recommend get from shops as chances
of them running road are very slim unlike those on Caurosell.

U should build your own PC. Get help here if needed. I love building own PC, doing upgrades for parts, cleaning pc parts.

Something like a car lover, I am a pc lover. No Love for cars lol, grabcar is best car to me.

Shops that help you with warranty might takes even longer, since they are like middlemen in this case. Might not help to voice out like customers.

U should go for aftershock or smth not those small boutique ones cos u won’t know how long they can survive to honour their own warranty.

i got the custom pc builder from the first post in the thread...
i was wanted to share the shop but he kept promising to send out the invoice, it was delayed multiple times, and now he rarely replies my message...

he has pretty good reviews thats why i decided to purchase it from him, i dont think the people who gave him reviews are without a receipt, im not sure why mine is withheld, the reason given was due to massive amount of invoice to send and its during **...

nothing much i can do without the receipt to register the graphic card warranty...

the seller is mosaic_pc, basically i didnt even click the buy button through carousell, so technically there isnt any transaction, he delivered the PC then i transferred the money via ibanking... not complaining about the PC but the lack of a receipt makes my pc without any warranty.

i even recommended my friend to buy from him and also no receipt...
all i have are just chat logs with him

I communicated with that seller previously but did not deal with him in the end because the price quoted was out of my budget or the parts recommended by him were not I want.

he replied very fast and changed the parts as i want it thats why never buy through carousel item, i just chat with him thru the app and he quoted me other parts, he was quick to respond and promised the receipt for warranty purposes.

I paid half of the amount as deposit and after i received the com, i immediately transferred the rest of the amount to him. Guess i shouldnt have done that and be so trusting, then his comms started to slowly lag behind.

Cos i didnt buy anything technically thru the app from him, i cant review him also.

He shouldve given you an invoice. But its not so bad until your PC is without any warranty from local disti. Unless the parts are PI, local disti can still track your parts by serial number and estimate the warranty date from there.

Can recommend me a shop that I can buy all the parts without getting chop carrots?
It's hard to get everything from one shop, cause of prices n stocks. Have a price checklist first, then go ask quota from shop, see who can give you the best quota or the nearest to your pricelist( what I done was, I printed the list of items and go to the shop and ask them to quato me all the items on the list of the best prices if I get everything from their shop) usually tradepac offer the cheapest back then unless special promotion in other shops. Another way, msg Nigel, pass him the list for a quota or recommendation, he also get parts from other shop, what he can't get or expensive, he will recommend you to get elsewhere.

When making purchases, make sure all have receipts, When collection, unless you buying 2nd hand or refurbished parts, otherwise all parts should come with full packaging (box). RMA lots of companies want show of purchases(receipts) and parts serials(must be the same with the box-warranty).

Yes, his responses were fast but I will try to avoid one-man business.

Some sellers got their parts from distributors so you can either go back to the seller or distributors for RMA.

Just bring it to Tech Dynamic. They can track the import/manufacturing date from the serial number and advise you from there.
