Best solution is to run LAN cables along trunking to your room. That would mean some drilling and DIY to do, but the reward is full speed of whatever broadband plan u paid for.

Alternative solution is to run homeplugs. Tradeoff is u only get 50-70% of broadband speed. But still better than wifi which sometimes varies from 5-75% of broadband speed.

yeah best is using lan cable... but if you really don't have a choice best is buy standalone wifi card..

Agree bro...
but all our electrical trunking has been covered by cornice..
and to drill 100mm thick wall.. is no easy feat unless you have industrial power drill..
will read up about homeplugs

thanks

U shld not be reusing the electrical trunking. Lay new trunking, can run along wall skirting. Network cables and electrical cables shouldn't be inside same trunking else electrical interference will be very strong, u lose network packets coming through the LAN cables.

Ohh... Thanks for the insight..
Learn something new today.
Is it ok to run along side by side but in different trunking?

Home plugs are better now. Using Sineoji 1800EP, can hit 90-100% of my subscribed speed. But each pair is like $130.

Obviously, u dun even have 1800Mbps connection, confirm even at 50% efficiency it can saturate typical 300 or 500Mbps connections... :s13:

as you can see.. the PSU cable that come with the casing hinder the side of the PSU to flush with the wall of the casing.

(Jonsbo UMX3 - the PSU is located at the front top of the casing..
the casing has a cable to plug to PSU and end at the rear of the casing)

Can the plug of the PSU be rotated..? so that the cable can run freely..

I can sell away the PSU.. but then have to wait till there is a buyer.. cause no more money to buy a new PSU.
If can be rotated? i will take a chance.. tho the warranty will be void

not your fault bro..
if i choose the casing with PSU on the rear.. it should be ok..
bought the casing after bought the PSU.. should the other way round right?

worst is the clearance from top of the PSU to top of the casing is only ard 21mm.. it just nice height for the supplied right angle cable that come with the casing.

went to SLT.. most shops closed.. ask around.. no luck
then to SLS.. also no luck..

anyhow.. will ask doraemon.. hopefully he has some good news

thanks
