Anyone apply nyp sdae??I heard from my friends that it is based on your talent and portfolio

So worried that I’ll not get my DAE if that’s so I’ll have to wait another year...

So what’s your plan if you didn’t secure a place in poly ? Perhaps you can consider go army and apply DAE during your NS?

Yeah me too... If I don't get a course, I'll probably take private A levels

Just to encourage you, a friend of mine was a ex ngee Ann drop out, a little hell break loose that resulted he dropped out. His parents were very angry with him. But he made an U turn during his NS days and study private A. Today, he managed to secure interview for Ivy League like Brown, Yale, Princeton. So ya, you never know your ability, sky is the limit. Just don’t give up.

DAE for RP phase 2 is conducted from March 20 & March 23. So yes there is still chance. I still believe that you have good chance to secure a place in RP for phase 2. Assuming if you didn’t secure a place, my recommendation for you is to register for O level via ITE GE program. So that you can use your previous O level to together with your latest one to apply via JAE.
Of course another alternative to consider ITE but if this is not an option (just like me), then you can consider private diploma like SIM.

Still waiting for results applied at NYP and RP phase 2 but still no response..

I’m 22 this year, finished army and didn’t do very well for O’s. (28) - 2 = 26

Hope I can get in.. or else private grr.. Super stressed out

Another option for you is to consider retake your O levels via ITE GE and you can apply via JAE for AY 21/22, of course private is another options. Whatever you do, you have to commit to yourself a total change of behavior Cos doing the same things again and again, u will likely get the same results. So you need to break your routines and commit yourself to a new routine, that will propel you to obtain a better result. I’m sure you can do it ya.

To be sure you are eligible to apply via JAE, pls call SEAB hotline to understand how you can apply via JAE. To my understanding, you will need to retake your O level, combine with your previous one so that you will be qualified for JAE for AY 21/22. Also call Mindef when your exemption due.

Have you check your application status ? Think with your results, there shouldn’t be an issue. A friend of mine got into TP common engineering via DAE, no interview. His L1R4 is around 22 points.

It still states processing.Thats why i am wondering how come NYP application process was quite slow compared to other poly

A friend of mine got rejected by TP,she receive the rejection through email

TP emailed him that he being accepted for CEP. This happened last week.

Nope it doesnt mean that way.My friend got 23 points for L1R4 and she successfully got into RP sonic arts without interview.Some courses require interview.Ultimately,it is based on vacancy
