Oh yeah..that stall has been around for quite a while already even before the major reno took place. Other popular stalls will be the satay beehoon, chicken rice, fish soup, bbq chicken wings :s12:
yea i went to check out the place and saw the satay bee hoon, queue damnnn long

for me got nice food is bonus, most imptly has hawker and supermarket good enough

if i stay at hillview i probably have to cross over to rail mall and eat the chicken rice everyday, wonder why they dont setup a basic foodcourt in hillv2.

yea i went to both before, at least there are supermarket options

the chicken rice in rail mall is average, but at least its cheap and affordable, in whole hillview area i cant think of any affordable food options except chicken rice and and bak chor mee in rail mall...last time free parking, now all installed with gantry

if i wan prata i will go al zhar near cheong chin nam, when i was a kid they only have 1 outlet there, now much bigger already. too bad all the lan centre and arcade at B1 of the shopping centre gone, those were the days

yeah that u-turn stretch to go into PIE further down always very jammed. i think park natura and hillside at $13xx FH still very fair. Vs midwood or mount botanik at $16-18xx

if given an option i will still choose the beauty world stretch due to the schools, amenities and cheap food
park natura "flaws" could be having an address that reads bukit batok

yeah hillview appeal to different profile of buyers, those who want peace and quiet. i will find it ok if not for their asking price of $16-18xx. Personally i will never choose clementi or jurong east, price aside its just too crowded with people.

yea 20y ago still have a lan centre, pool tables, and arcade. now become maid agencies etc

hopefully in june there will be a master developer that come up with a mind blowing concept to develop the jalan bukit site.

How is SOK 5 min walk to mrt? You can literally see the MRT entrance across the junction at Tampines Rd once you exit SOK. Its not even a 3 min walk.

For Florence, to NEL Hougang is a smelly 800m minimum and 900m to NEL Kovan. When CRL Hougang is up, the nearest exit is ~500m, that is still subjected to a long underground walkway to the platform. The right word is Florence is near nowhere.
haha chill please.. i walked before mah :p
ya florance i dont understand why it s selling at 17xx psf now... early days is cheaper, but now already increased price...

INGAPORE: Private home prices in Singapore rose 3.3 per cent in the first quarter of the year, topping flash estimates released earlier in the month.

The private residential property price index increased to 162.2 points in the first quarter of 2021, up from 157 points in the last quarter of 2020, according to real estate statistics released by the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) on Friday (Apr 23).

The figure marks the fourth straight quarter of price increases, and extends the 2.1 per cent rise in the quarter before.

It is also the sharpest quarterly increase since the second quarter of 2018, when prices rose by 3.4 per cent, triggering a round of cooling measures after.

LANDED PROPERTY BOOST

The higher home prices were boosted by the landed property segment - prices for such homes rose 6.7 per cent in the first quarter, reversing a 1.6 per cent decline in the previous quarter.

In the non-landed property segment, prices rose 2.5 per cent, down slightly from a 3 per cent rise in the quarter before, said URA.

Specifically, in the Core Central Region, prices rose 0.5 per cent, slowing from a 3.2 per cent increase in the quarter before.

In the Rest of Central Region, prices rose 6.1 per cent, extending the previous quarter's increase of 4.4 per cent.

Prices in the Outside Central Region rose by 1.1 per cent, slowing from a 1.8 per cent increase the previous quarter.

first subsale recorded in daintree.
Already saw this subsale quite some time ago, 55k profit. After BSD, agent fee, lawyer fee, still a loss. Haven’t even factored in SSD yet as the seller sold before 3rd year, the loss will be higher.
