Hi everyone, I have a carbon gen 4 with a dark patch on the right side of the screen as seen on the picture link provided below ignore the dead pixel I am pointing at. I tried to file a warranty claim with Lenovo but they deem it as a user induced damage. Has anyone here with a Thinkpad ran into this issue with the screen and manage to convince Lenovo to replace the LCD? I do not see how is it a user induced damage as there are no evidence of crack or pressure applied around that area of the screen as well as the laptop casing behind the screen.

Not with Lenovo but with my Samsung LED TV. Mine had something similar but the blob on my TV is bigger. It looks like a grey smear, but u will not be able to clean it off no matter how hard u try. Sent it in and Samsung fixed it FOC as its still under warranty
