DATA USAGE CHECKING ON STARHUB.

no sudden surge on my starhub. still same this past few days.

go to phone's settings/cellular. it will tell you which app is using your data. reset data counter too.

then u can check every single minute if u wish to

I got a 4gb usage on 18th nov for no reason too. These few days got data surge not sure will be fixed anot. Gonna call them up if it doesn't get amended

There was a month, they charged me for 28gb of data usage. I use wifi at home and surf Facebook ocasionally when I am out. I told them impossible for me to have used 28gb! I called them and they took two weeks to investigate. in the end, they waived only half of the $80 excess data charges off. They claimed 4g speed could have caused us to download and watch video more often than before. Now I am paranoid and use the starhub app to check usage every other day. Hope the data surge that month was a once off.

I also realized my data usage upped quite an amount. So every now and then I'll go to the starhub app and check my data usage.

Surf abit in Instagram then jump like mad. 15mins of surfing 30mb is that even normal.

I notice after upgrading to iPhone 6 Plus, my monthly data has been exceeding. Same usage pattern as before but much more stats consumed. Instagram Facebook whatsapp and Twitter seems to have increased their data consumption.

The problem is that I was already using iPhone 6 plus last month. But the data consumption this month very different. Totally not sure which app is causing the jump.

checking data usage on ios7 or 8 settings/cellular is pretty much accurate.

try to reset daily and compare with starhub app.

I'm experiencing the same thing too. I am still on my 3G 12Gb... not a heavy user. daily: instagram, flipboard and Facebook. Once i reach office, i will be using Wi-fi.

This month, I have already used up 11gb+ of data but my iPhone usage info states otherwise...
Is Starhub trying something funny again??!

Anyone tried calling 1633 to enquire about this?

one time starhub app says i have used 32GB of data.

when the bill came, it was within my free data given.
