Can apply for POSB invest saver Nikko STI ETF....

Are you recommending this as an easy no-nonsense ETF that qualifies for a DBS Multiplier-counted transaction category?

At the mean time can consider to terminated and fully redeem the ABF bond at least 6 months before the 12 months of the Nikko STI ETF ends, so that you can switch back to it to count to the DBS multiplier then.

Please elaborate. Thanks!

The ABF bond and Nikko STI ETF bought under the POSB investsaver are relatively easy means to clock the investment category for the DBS multiplier. Each of these ETFs count only if applied after applying for DBS multiplier, and if had these ETF previously they need to be terminated and fully redeemed at least 6 months before for them to count. Each ETF count for max 12 months.

Applied for Multiplier, and also later done for Nikko STI ETF subscription, thanks.
Am I right actually I can cancel the existing ABF bond subscription now as well? Don't need to wait till the "at least 6 months before 12 months is up for Nikko STI ETF" right? Actually this effectively means every 6 months i need to switch funds right?

Can cancel and redeem the ABF now if you want or at least wait for the dividend to be awarded in Jan.

Need to switch fund every 12 months, then have 6 months window to decide when to terminate and fully redeem the existing fund.

difficult to plan until so nice due to mkt conditions
sometimes it's too unfavourable to just cancel the investsaver and redeem all the units after the 12th mth, esp. for STI ETF
ABF bond is more suitable in this case as it's less volatile and charges lesser commissions

How to see when it is "suitable" to fully redeem ABF bond, i.e. for this how to see my average price against current market price? Is there an option to terminate ABF, but not redeem?

FYI, for anyone trying to increase their balance (to get to the next tier) by trading via vickers. The cash-upfront trading doesn't seem to get recognized as additional amounts.

Do I need to buy minimum of $100 ETf in PoSB invest saver? Or can I buy quarterly and still get the interest in Mulitplier account?

Posb investsaver deduct fund monthly to buy the ETF and it only count to multiplier in the month when there is deduction made.

that means I need to invest monthly?

Is there a better way to get the higher interest for Mutiplier account because Nikko AM ETF is not exactly the index I like. I prefer STI ETF.

Think you can set up a regular savings plan to buy unit trust of your choice. But the minimum amount is higher.

Btw Nikko AM Singapore STI ETF is a STI ETF. Which STI ETF you want to buy?

I tried once buying stocks through cash upfront account in Vickers and was recognized by “Bank and earn”.

how did u know it is recognised... have u got the interest already? coz i thought the interest only comes in on the 7th working day of following month..?

if i buy the stocks via DBS Vickers using the Cash upfront account and sell the stock within a day or 2 like that also counted towards the 3.5% interest?
