things are just getting weirder for my case.
1. banker recommended me to buy one of the funds in early Sep, lump sum in.
2. banker says can RSP each month $100 to qualify for multiplier.
3. buy liao right, couple of days ago discover no option to RSP (even digibank says 'error in fund detail - sorry, no information available).
4. call in hotline, CSO reply says fund is suspended (!!)
5. banker reply separately saying fund no longer taking in new orders that's why cannot RSP (first time hearing that a fund is 'full')
6. banker asked me to RSP into ETF instead, but the irony is when he recommended me the previous fund he was telling me how bad ETF is performing and says should not buy ETF.
and he discouraged me from RSP into a fund which I already have, quoting that need to do $1k lump sum first (current balance is <$1k because mostly redeemed).
and he also forgot to apply the card promo when i was opening the multiplier account through him... now i have to appeal for the cashback promo even though i'm a new card customer.
i'm not really sure if i can trust this banker... what would you guys think? he also don't reply my emails but instead whatsapp me 'official replies' so there's technically no proper black and white?
*p.s. the only positive outcome so far is that he's able to give me a discount when buying new funds. he only earn like $300 commission from my purchase of the fund i think. i'm wondering is it because the commission so low.
