I took DBS home loan and it is disbursed earlier Oct. However, the 1st installment is only in the Mid of Nov. Will this be counted as one more category for Oct? Thanks for advise.

Think no. Is based on instalment. If u paid nothing in Oct so nothing to count

They have more gun powder to fire the promo. They already no.1 in terms of customer base in Singapore with so many uncle aunty put their savings with them earning tiny interest.

Yeap Base interest 0.05% is month end or month start. Bonus int latest 7th working day

Don't think it's an automation issue. Rather they need to wait to make sure some transactions eligible for BnE are fully settled (e.g. card transactions that the merchant are slow to post, ...).

I think the motivation for them to provide the higher interest is, to get people to use the other services like investment, insurance etc. So they will make money from there.

Those who bought insurance to hit extra category and pay monthly premium, may I know how the monthly premium is paid ? Do we have the choice to pay manually every mth, GIRO to DBS/POSB bank account or charged to credit card ?

It is by GIRO deduction from any DBS/POSB account of your choice by default.

I don't remember having the option to pay manually, maybe no such option.
