would like to know this too.

i am considering the $17 plan for $40kbcoversge.

i just signed up for cancercare today and application is pending. Any chance it will be considered as another category for next month's interest?

Totally not worth it to pay for the insurance anymore come Jan 2021.

Sian but still works for me since no other better alternatives

sad. but maybe it's time to relook at FDs... esp. for those of us who're not touching those $50k or $100k for this programme all these while.

No choice, loans IR drop so deposits IR gotta drop too. Surprised by the 40+% drops though. :(

maybe time to consider FDs again...

FD are dropping correspondingly too.

Despite all the noise and threats to move out, I suspect most will continue to stay given no better alternative at the moment

I wonder if it’s a deliberate tactic.

Seems like their past few drops more mild than uob and ocbc. To attract more depositers over.

Then after they secure many, they do a one-time big cut. Then those depositers maybe lazy to change again.

Guess DBS also cannot earn money out of this low interest rate environment anymore. They are offering 1.5% fixed rate for 5 years home loan, how to sustain if they keep giving out high interest?

is not lazy to change. is nowhere else to change. after the big drop still edge above UOBOne/OCBC360.

1.2% for $100k for income + 3 cat.. (assuming tier 4: $5k to $15k transactions)
or 0.8% for $50k for income + 2 cat..
choose your poison.

somehow all these drops always hit the lower-middle bracket hardest and yet the higher bracket (eg. tier 6) still enjoying 2%+ rates. really sucks to be in the lower tiers -.-

it depends on the profile of the person also. DBS may not always be the best for everybody.

my lazy more like referring to. if the others are equally competitive/comparable, the difference might be too immaterial for them to change again.
