DBS changed its Mutiplier plan

I logged on to their manulife portal on a business day and emailed them to cancel. It was done immediately.

Again, Insurance category not showing up on Bank and Earn Summary...
Anyone too?

For the record, i bought termprotect on 07jul so aug should be the 1st count.

But it's not showing again.

They called me today, clueless as usual and talking about the interest rate for jun jul n aug is correct etc etc.

Recap-ped the guy nicely for the problem definition.
He try smoke me n say something like both investment n INS are updated on final week of the mth this is Normal.

Like hell it was. My INV portion T+3 cleared in 1st week aug n posted while INS not showing.

In the end he concede n say could be a system problem n feedback to backend…

But reaffirm that my Termprotect in Aug is 1/12.

So there.

to be honest, it's not his fault.

he's not wrong to say the investment and insurance will show up in the last week of the month because that's what we've been seeing for July (and June)? investment (RSP) always shows up last week somewhere around 25th.

for your case I guess because you just bought the fresh funds this month in 1st week of Aug that's why it shows up in the summary once it's cleared (T+3 days).

The TP insurance should be reflected already under Insurance segment of your banking portfolio.. next month wait for it to show 1/12.

this delay in the bank & earn summary is quite problematic from the very beginning.

To me what matters is at end of the day you know yourself whether you have done all the steps necessary to unlock the criteria I don't really rely fully on my bank and earn, especially since I've moved to cashback bonus scheme the bank and earn only update like last few days of mth cos my salary comes only end of the month.

If when crediting the interest or cashback the amount is wrong, then this is the time I will call in to complain. Figuritively the charts are more for ease of calculating how much you have clocked thus far

But if its there 247, the expected display should be at least up to date for or if not, as fast as the spending category tallies right.

My TP was bought in Jul. Hence Aug is 1/12.
Investment was a dbsvo buy trade dated 3Aug.

I still disagree with the claim that the figures only show on week 3.
Only thing for week 4 is my salary being the final piece of the quad and usually the fields fill in the sequence of INS, INV, SPEND, SAL.

Kinda surprised how he was off the mark from the get go, telling me something that I wasn't concerned about.
Wondered a little if he called the wrong person.

Hope my steps are correct.
My B&E shows 11/12 for cancercare, and ive paid the Jul premium.
Today I deleted giro arrangement (effective termination date is tomorrow), tues will follow up to call manulife to cancel.
I applied cancercare on 8th aug 2020 so shouldnt have any issue with the t&c on holding the policy for min 12 mths.
My premium usually deducted around 16aug, hopefully not too late in cancelling.
Meanwhile, i signed up the termprotect today as well for the promo.

My b&e summary havent show insurance lol. Guess i cancelled too soon?

the 12th deduction was yesterday and so next month I expect to see 12/12.. will apply to cancel both GIRO and with Manulife on 1/9.

anyway already bought termprotect during NDP promotion this month so it's either I see 12/12 (for cancercare) or 1/12 (for Term protect). or both? idk lol..

I called the cso, and he said it would reflect after 25th aug. :/ Both insurance and investment.
