words of caution using SG FinDex
- it is somewhat "permanent" as the access granted lasts a full year
- if need to, dont link too many accounts
- no way to unlink after linking ... it lasts a full year !
- everytime u refresh, it could inadvertently mean agreeing another full year of sharing
- iirc, CPF info will also be linked (cannot opt out)
have to read the SG FinDex Terms of Agreement for fine print, which the banks do not make explicit
that's my experience linking SG FinDex with SC
SGFinDex allows you to unlink your accounts.

if it's showing 11/12 this month it means you paid your 11th month in Sep (recognise in Oct). so you should be paying your last installment this month which will be recognised in Nov.

Apply your next one in November which will show up and recognise as (1/12) in Dec.

PS. don't cancel the insurance plan until you see 12/12 reflected next month. You can terminate GIRO first on 1st Nov.

can I check for those buying ETFs.. this month's my first month. noticed the units issued is rounded off to whole number (e.g. 95.000 units).

then I don't see any refund of the unused credits (after deducting the fees). usually when will the bank refund the balance amount to the multiplier account?

Usually about 2 business days after the deduction. Since 16th and 17th is weekend so probably you will see the refund by tomorrow .

my insurance CancerCare is on 12/12 and have deducted $17.80 for this month instead of the $11.57 in the previous month, should I cancel the current one and get a new one this month or next month?

think my RSP for month is also expiring this month and the $100 is already deducted for this month , should I cancel this month get the same one or there is better ETF to get?

For RSP.

suggest only cancel it after the crediting of bonus interest (if you want to play it super safe) on the 8th of next month.

but you can set up a new one now. it can't be the same has to be a different 1. refer to the FAQ on their website

it means you paid the 11th instalment in Sep so this month you should have paid the 12th and last one.

step 1 - on 1 Nov, cancel the GIRO arrangement for the current insurance
step 2 - buy new insurance plan in the first week of Nov
step 3 - when the B&E summary shows 12/12 next month, cancel the old insurance with manulife

It is the time of the year again that I need to "re-set" my Investment category.

I have already gotten
ABF Singapore Bond Index
&
Nikko AM SGD Investment Grd Corp Bd ETF

Wonder which one of the 2 remaining I should be getting next? Any comments or ideas?

Nikko AM SGP STI ETF
or
Nikko AM StraitsTrading Asia ex Japan REIT ETF?
