If you dun understand what is being shared or comments, pls ask him to explain. Dun let your imaginations run wild or make assumptions that it is some thing “illegal”

It is the best, automated, implementation of DBS tnc, if you know how to interpret it Properly!

So What is wrong with my interpretation: “some are setup one-time, others once every 12 mths”?

It is exactly what the DBS tnc “imply” what you should be doing to “Bank Less, Live More”!

How? Interpret and implement it Properly as follows:

1 Income – get your employer to setup once, it will be effortless to you every mth!
  1. Credit card – setup giro for your expenses to the card once, it will be effortless to you every mth!
  2. Invest – setup RSP once every 12 mths, it will be effortless to you every mth!
  3. Insurance – buy new policy once every 12 mths, it will be effortless to you every mth!

So what is “illegal” with my one liner to deserve a ban? You dun understand, just ask!
Of course when someone asked who I am referring to as the Expert in deciphering, I cannot say it's ME! :ROFLMAO:

So go ahead and ban me!
Sound good, but it does not suit me. No home Loan and the age is quite old, I do not want to spend money on unnessary insurance. OCBC and SCB can beat 4.1% if with investment interest contribution.

Multiplier a/c: Income + 2 Categories currently can hit 3% without home loan/insurance.
Stack on the Branch casa promo & get even higher.

OCBC and SCB requires many more times commitment to achieve the same outcome. However, choose what's the best for your life situation, and in this case OCBC and SCB would be the best 😬

so for the max gain is buy some insurance that is no point, some investment that is next to no gain, salary credit that have to waive annual.

no wonder dbs so happy...

max interest = gross pay
unneeded purchase = income tax
real gain = nett pay

the money spent for the unneeded insurance and negative investment plus the additional $50k dump into robo do low yield low risk funds probably same or higher gain.

no wonder dbs so happy...

It's incredibly difficult and an absolute waste of money and time to do these high yield savings account. Not recommended for the majority 😬

actually i also guilty of cheap thrills like maribank daily interest, lazada games...

i should start look at dbs multiplier to see how to get a new cheap thrill....but will soon need find a way to qualify for the income category.

i do wonder what is the lowest unneeded insurance and lowest cost investment (short term is loss making or low yield) that i can use.

meanwhile bulk of savings in long term investments.

Not difficult. Various options available.

Depends on age if you looking at just clocking it so it will be an expense.

the alternative is a small endowment. Is not an expense but an opportunity cost. Pick you poison.
and lowest cost investment (short term is loss making or low yield) that i can use.
Depends on how much effort you prefer which will inform the cost.

1) do a fixed income etf/ut rsp for as low as $100 a month. 0.5% fee. So 50c so this is an expense.

you can follow up with this by just selling (no additional cost) upon credit to minimise any loss/gains from the “investment”

2) manually go buy a short duration bond fund etf each month.

Minimum $1. Fee of 0.5% so $0.01.

then if prefer sell it immediately.
meanwhile bulk of savings in long term investments.
If you see this DBS multiplier as a comparison for investment, you are seeing it wrong

must be a royalmix-up

I am explaining what you mean by "literally doing nothing", ie you automated your transactions by “some are setup one-time, others once every 12 mths” (more details in my post quoted above)!

If you are not doing all these such that you do nothing every month, can you explain here what you mean by "literally doing nothing"?

I understand there could be another possible meaning, but that is "illegal" to share here. So share your 3rd reason?

Otherwise Admin should take action, delete Fake Post, and all edmw posts including the next insulting post!
