From the FAQ
Salary Credit: Salary credited via GIRO into any personal or joint DBS/POSB deposit account. The main
description in your Statement of Account should “Salary” or “GIRO Salary”.

yes, dont need to credit to multiplier. im creditting to my posb savings.

but fyi, interest is only earned in multiplier, so you might have to do a manual trans/standing instruction to multiplier. additional 1 more step. might be easier to just giro to multiplier.

:s12: Bumps for you, curious to know whether EZ-link top-up considered credit counts into card spending too?

And do dividends and purchasing of SSB/SGX bonds count into investment?

juz setup my multiplier acct today. i was told at the branch counter, 1 card but 2 accts (savings & multiplier). however NETS payment still under savings acct.

if that's the case, if online shopping or mastercard paypass payment, the money deduct from which acct leh?

if under savings one, how to earn extra interest for multiplier?

Does any knows topup to CPF SA at AXS machine accounted or not? Or is it doable for RSTU using credit card in the first place?

Deduction only happens once per month, around the 15th. So if you setup after that then you'll have to wait for the next month

I read the T&C and it states interest is paid on DAILY BALANCE on dbs multiplier account. Does this mean, i dont have to keep some excess above 50k by the end of this month, as i have some July days where i fall below 50k ?

If interest is paid on Average Daily Balance, then i would think keeping alittle more than 50k is worthwhile to make my entire July month average day balance to be 50k.

Does my qtn make sense here? Thank you

Their calculation is daily balance x interest then add together and pay you every month. You don't get more interest on any amount exceeding 50k on any day, you won't get the full interest if the balance is less than 50k for any day. You strictly need to have 50k or more every single day to get the maximum interest.

Ok got it. So means I can’t put in some excess of 50k these few remaining days of the month to “compensate” those days I didn’t hit 50k. Alright, I will just stop at 50k exact might as well.
Thanks!

Cannot. Dbs byob allow debit card or credit card spending.
Dbs Multiplier must be credit card spending.

Actually the credit card spending criteria is easy since no minimal commitment. Provided you have at least one dbs/posb credit card.
