Is there a period whereby I must have had the account before I can enjoy higher interest?

I created multiplier account at 10th July, setup RSP afterwards. money deducted on 16th and fund shown as transaction on 19th. Salary also came in as Giro on 19th.

Checked interest, and amount looks closer to 0.05% than amount with Salary + 1 category. Did I mess something up?

bonus interest only come in later

any reason for ppl opting to buy ETF to get the Multiplier bonus interest instead of investing in SGX stocks?

if i dun have 50k to put into multiplier account now, is it wise to credit salary to multiplier instead of posb savings? currently my salary is credit to citibank.
Not sure what you mean. I guess you can work out the option that gives you the best returns yourself.

can cancel nikko etf, sell all units then wait 6 months before reapply. At the meantime can buy ABF bond for it to count

sian because my nikko will lose abit of $$ if i sell now... can i keep nikko and just buy ABF for it to count?

yes you can. abf will count for 12 months only though. So you have 6 months to consider selling nikko. If wait for more than 6 months then there will be months that POSB investsaver not counted.

so if i get you correctly it means

-buy abf and hold for 12 months
-consider selling nikko 6 months into buying abf
-abf 12 month timeline finish
-restart nikko and stop/sell abf?

sorry still very noob at this!! thanks a lot!

1) buy every month to clock investment category
2) less risk
3) Fees fully refunded

1) u mean the ETF they have to buy every month to click investment category ? - then isnt it the same as buy the stock every month ?
2) how is it less risk? issit less fluctuation?
3) what kind of fee is fully refunded ?

1) Auto deduction will be made monthly if buying ETF via POSBInvest saver.
2) ETF/bond likely less fluctuation than individual stock.
3) fee for buying unit trust fully refundable https://www.posb.com.sg/personal/promotion/investing-in-unit-trust
4) Can invest just $100

Didn't realize we would get back transaction fee for investing into RSP, although I've not seen any increase in my paylah wallet so far...

bonus interest only come in later

Hi, so the interest comes in separate from the base interest?

I see, thanks.

Follow up question on RSP. The idea is to swap in/out of bonds and etf every 6 months right? To maintain investment category

Not every 6 months. One type per 12 months. Stop the RSP for first type of etf and change to the other type when 13th month. U have time frame of from 13th to 18th month to fully redeem the first etf to prepare for re-entry again after 6 month later.
