Curious if anyone had observed how the eligible transaction tracker works:

The tracker has an as of date, like as of xx sep 2025. Does it mean to
1) include all eligible transaction including that xx date,
or
2) only up till xx minus 1 day (like the cut off is 12am of xx September so essential only up till xx-1).

software do have EOL. The developer of the software will not provide security updates/patches or support with prior notification of EOL. Also the end user (the company/corporate) may not be able to implement enhancements if such support is ended.

Sometimes the developer may allow the end user to sign an extended support agreement (usually with hefty premiuns) so most companies with IT resources will change out the software to a newer version or change supplier.

But I agree with you .... the lastest DBS UI for Funds Tranfer sucks.
Off-the-shelf software has EOL. I don't think DBS bought off-the-shelf software from a vendor for something as essential as their funds transfer functionality.

It's more likely that both software were developed by in-house teams, then this one was rushed into public deployment (or somehow overridden by a very vocal and powerful director with no sense of UI/UX).

DBS treasures MP promo is Oct -Dec and need income + 3 cat, if I purchase insur today-23 Sep, inception 23 Oct and recognition start date 23 Nov. So it means I will have only 2 months of promo interest (Nov & Dec). Is my understanding correct?

You got the invite? What did the invite say about insurance? You dun believe this invite tnc but believe the website FAQ?

(I already feedback to DBS on possible error in the FAQ)
Thanks @royalmix , I received the invite. It states ‘Fulfill the criteria of crediting your income and transacting in 3 or more eligible categories’ . I guess it is how DBS defines ‘ transacts’.

Why dun you read the whole FAQ, then zoom down to the insurance paragraph! Read everything they sent you in the attachments! Time is running out on you unless you already bought today!
Spoke to Treasures RM, he said straight though policies are intercepted same day. Will meet him tomorrow and confirm before joining Treasures

The change in the way Funds Transfer are displayed in DBS/POSB banking is not a change in banking software. It is a change in the UI (the way information is displayed). It is usually a special web based internet portal designed by the bank for end users/client access and transctions are then uploaded to the core banking software. What we see displayed are simplified information.

The core banking software is more complex and usually untouchable by retail clients/ end user and implemented by a supplier. This supplier provides banking software to quite a number of financial institutions in Singapore.

this is the way I interpret it too. That's why I am not keen to join the Oct to Dec promo by Sep 2025.

I'm also short of 1 catergory (need to purchase insurance) as I just ended my DBS housing loan

If you purchase those Savvy Endowment, there's only 1 month lag.
I purchased Savvy 21 on 18 Aug. The policy was issued & commenced on same day. My Multiplier tracker started to show "1/12" around mid-Sep.

The UI is horrible, it's a massive regression in fact.
