Under RSP there are 4 funds (ABF Singapore Bond Index Fund, Nikko AM SGD Investment Grade Corporate Bond ETF, Nikko AM Singapore STI ETF or Nikko AM-StraitsTrading Asia ex Japan REIT ETF)

1st 12 mths Nikko AM Singapore STI ETF
redeem
2nd 12mth Nikko AM SGD Investment Grade Corporate Bond ETF
redeem
and repeat 1 and 2 above.

honestly despite of what I said early, I have not tried it

this is because by the time my second etf reached 12 months, I already out from multiplier for better interests

but for investment, yes that’s the gist… please make sure you do full redemption…

One may ask, wouldn’t it defeat the purpose of rsp or dca concepts? Well, take the redeemed monies and buy lump sum direct, namely if you redeem ES3 from rsp, use the money buy ES3 lump sum… you pay comms (again), but that how one can stay vested yet get out to possible reset the investment basket criteria

Thanks for sharing. Actually I intend let RSP deduct $100 and immediately (or as soon as the trade settled) sell/redeem back the 100 (or close to 100). The only purpose of this RSP is to unlock invest category for bonus interest, I am DCAing into other asset elsewhere.

since the $1 doesnt work anymore. min lump sum is 1000 now.
just RSP $100 into low cost (0.5% fee) unit trust , then redeem it after that in the same month. That same $100 will go into the next mth RSP.
After 12 mth , stop first RSP, then choose another UT.
After another 12mth Repeat with prior UT or any other.

The min $1 investment options seem to have disappeared, anyone still know of any?

My RM just told me this $1 investment lump sum option has been nerfed but can do RSP

gg sia, why they suddenly detect & nerf it out of nowhere
so best alternative now next mth onwards is to do a RSP $100 mthly?

I think their digi save up better but with 0.25% mgmt fees (Lower probability of capital loss)

I thought RSP must be continue monthly for one year, if not the investment category will not be valid assuming u only RSP to activate the investment potion

u just have to continue, but you aren't prevented from selling

DOES it Mean ,with a Joint Account , your spouse (Client B) who did NOT apply for Treasures, has to also pay $50 ,just because her amount does NOT cross $200K threshold? HAS this happen to your spouse's account with $50 being deducted?
