Hey guys. I am using the multiplier account with my salary credited for the 1st time this month. I can see my salary in the bank and earn page.

I have a dbs live student credit card which I top up mu ez link just to test it out. I can see my credit card have the transaction in The credit card page but its not reflected in the bank and earn page. Does that mean that the student credit card don't count or is it just not updated yet?

Hi guys,

I just FAST from my multiplier acct for the 1st time and the transaction code is ADV, instead of the usual ICT code...

I checked the code, ADV means advice while ICT means FAST payment / receipt...

But my ADV is still just FAST only right?

Abit weird...makes me a little wary...:s11:

Does anyone else FAST under the ADV code?

Thanks!!

I do internal immediate transfer also ADV code. Don't see anything wrong about it.

When did you make the transaction?

Anyone able to confirm if ez-link auto reload and ABT mastercard (used on public transport) qualifies as credit card transactions for the Multiplier interest?

Just realized that even though Multiplier has no credit card min. Spend but the CC itself has a min. spend to qualify? Like POSB everyday card is $700....

Any CC in dbs with no minimum spend? Then if low spender can't enjoy multiplier because can't qualify for CC min. Spend?

The CC minimum spend is for the CC card cashback/rebate, it is a separate thing and does not affect the Multiplier qualification.

CC eligibility is by minimum income not minimum spend.

Example the POSB Everyday card you mention has an income requirement of
S$30,000 and above per annum (Singaporean and PR)
S$45,000 and above per annum (Foreigner)

As long as can hit the income requirement then can apply for the card liao.

Oh I see. Then I qualify. What if I don't hit their CC min. spending?, Say I spend 300 instead of the 700 min spending it stated?

Looking through their T&C i think they have a min spend of 800 now. That min spend is for the 20% Cash rebate promo on Dining.

No hit then no get the promo rebate lo.

To quickly answer your question
Yes, u can still get credit card
For your case, best to get DBS altitude, no expiry of points which you can use to offset cc bill once u accumulated enough

POSB everyday also has some point system that can redeem certain things (including offset cc bill) i think.

actually what i'm more curious about is, for low spenders e.g. spend only $100 for cc, will the bank still allow annual fee waivers?

like perhaps coz didn't spend enough on the cc, so annual fee waiver not allowed etc.
