POSB everyday also has some point system that can redeem certain things (including offset cc bill) i think.

actually what i'm more curious about is, for low spenders e.g. spend only $100 for cc, will the bank still allow annual fee waivers?

like perhaps coz didn't spend enough on the cc, so annual fee waiver not allowed etc.
Hit or miss. Most of the time with DBS is okay to waive through automated phone, unless you got those high income cards.

Anyway can just cancel if they don't waive

Can I check if salary credit $4900 invest $100/mth counted to get the $5K tier bonus? or it has to be dividend $100?

Can open SRS account with DBS and do investment be counted? If yes, with salary credit and SRS $15K will get the 15K tier bonus?

possible, but for DBS i have not encountered yet that they do not waive because of low spending. there is even one card i've never spent a single cent on, but they waive every year.

No need to be dividend. RSP also counts but must be a new one that is setup AFTER the multiplier account is opened.

Cannot comment on the SRS cuz never try.

ocbc is notorious for not waiving any fees, even receive payment 1 day late also cannot waive late charges. forget about this bank, they don't appreciate their customers and their products are lousy anyway.

Shouldn't you ask your HR? They are the ones who GIRO your salary into your account. DBS only records whatever transactions occurred.

remember to minus the CPF amount from your gross salary, because only the amount credited into your DBS/POSB account counts.

as long as the code used to credit the amount is CDP, it will count as investment. other codes do not count as investment. similarly, salary is SAL.
