like that might as well they start to allow us to signup online banking
The moment they start it may quickly game over. It seems to be their idea to have promotion for walk in customers? Previously I remember i receive verbal code from them to join higher interest time deposit when I walk in to do other transactions. That was many many years ago. It could be their marketing tactic to reward savers who visit their branch periodically.

maybe previously got some customers application got lost backend... hence they implemented this new way.

As a moderator, endorsing negative speculation instead of staying neutral sets a poor precedent. Partial automation is standard strategy to eliminate low-value manual work, speed up processing, and protect frontline roles. Moderators should remain objective and base conclusions on facts, rather than validating rumors about operational failures just because they don't understand the business logic behind it.

Bro, this is HWZ, I'm a tech guy, not banking operations expert, just sharing a personal wishlist here. Since now they finally managed to post the CASA TNC online, it is trivial for a "Live more, Bank less" organisation to just simply allow online enrolment.

So sorry I'm not a business guru like you. I'll leave the complex business logic to you, while a poor guy like me goes back to hunting for a mere 1.x% yield like everyone else.

Bro, Today, this is an SPH Media-owned platform, and we are posting specifically in MoneyMind—a sub-forum meant for objective, constructive financial and tech discussion, not EDMW-style trolling.

As a moderator representing an SPH Media platform, endorsing negative speculation about bank backend failures instead of staying neutral sets a poor precedent. You don't need to be a business guru or a banking operations expert to understand basic automation phases; you just need to keep the discussion factual, which is exactly why users come to MoneyMind in the first place.
