yes. the interest % is dependent on your transaction amt/mth.

will the transaction amount affect my 2%

if I spend $5 on credit card
and salary credit of $3000

compare to

if I spend $400 on credit card
and salary credit of $3000

it is the same 2% interested? as there are no minimum credit card spending?

The sum value of your (eligible) transactions within the month determines the tier of interest rate (eg: 2% for >= 2500 & <5000).

The interest you get is derived from the interest rate above * your ADB * (days/365).

I'm thinking of switching from ocbc360 to dbs multiplier. When I look at my ocbc bank statement, the salary credit code is "PAYR" under "GIRO - SALARY". Will this be accepted by DBS?
Any kind soul know about this? Thanks a lot.

It seem all right. From experience, if salary crediting can qualify OCBC 360, it should not have problem to qualify for Multiplier if your HR use the same salary crediting method.

Hi. I intend to apply for DBS Multiplier with my salary credit and 1 other transaction. Most probably will invest using RSP into ETF for 10 continuous years. However, the DBS F&Q suggests that "RSP and POSB Invest Saver will be recognized for the first 12 consecutive months when you made contributions to an investment fund "

Q1. Does it means that this is no longer an applicable transaction for DBS Multiplier after 1 full year?
Q2. Any solution to this if the above hold true?

Thank you.

1. Yes
2. build a SSB bond ladder, buy for 6 consecutive months, the coupon payment will count

Refer to above reply, the initial fund not counted, only the coupon payment is counted.

hi, anyone know if the Mutiplier a/c can also serve as the Multi-Currency Account (MCA) a/c?

If yes, then what is the diff between these two a/c?

I am going to move my GBP in eMCA into Mutiplier, and close eMCA a/c as I have to maintain $3K average daily balance to avoid $7.5 Fall-below fee.

Sorry for hijacking, but does anyone know how long it takes to open a dbs vickers young investor account? Was thinking of rushing to the office during lunch.

万事俱备,只欠东风。。。 Salary was credited in bank account with the transaction code 'GR' instead of 'SAL'. There goes my account bonus and the potential $80 under the DBS50 Online Account Opening Promotion.

BANG WALL AH!!!

Also, the Bank and Earn summary is automated. It'll usually take 2 days for it to update after your transactions are done (not for everything though; the RSPs tend to take more days).

For RSP, any idea when will it be updated?
Deducted on 15th and not updated till now :s11:
