Account bonus. U mean the bank and earn? If yes, try n click, it’s counted towards the rewards.
万事俱备,只欠东风。。。 Salary was credited in bank account with the transaction code 'GR' instead of 'SAL'. There goes my account bonus and the potential $80 under the DBS50 Online Account Opening Promotion.

BANG WALL AH!!!

Anyone knows the meaning of MER transaction code? Is it only SAL and PAY are eligible for multiplier programme?

I think MER code is MEPS Receipts or MAS Electronic Payment System. Encountered this when I wire SGD from IBKR to POSB. No bank charges at all.

Google “DBS Multiplier FAQ”, this will answer your queries (can’t paste the web link).

Will Delay Salary affect interest

My company will usually credit in salary on the last few days of the month.
However, there are sometimes where it gets delay, and only credited on the next month.

E.g.
29 Jun
27 Jul
28 Aug
01 Oct
29 Oct

For the above example, Sep salary was delay until 01 Oct.
Will DBS take into account of the salary on 01 Oct as Sep 2018, or there won't be any multiplier interest for Sep?

of cos 01 Oct taken as for Oct, not Sep. Can try appeal, but subjected to approval

U can try to call dbs to appeal for those months that are affected. I have the same case as you in UOB, when I stupidly signed for prudential endowment plan on the last day of the month; charged to UOB one cc to earn UOB one account interest. Neither prudential nor UOB can change the deduction date. So I have to call UOB for certain months of the year to appeal and they take damn long to credit my interest.

But better late than never!

Thanks. Took a look at the FAQ. The only MER I found was customer, being the last three letters :o
