Has anyone tried to do DBS Multiplier, plus doing DBS BYOB (transfer to SAYE account for 2% interest + 2% interest in PayLah)? And successfully get interest from Multiplier, SAYE and PayLah accounts?

Thanks!!

Saw your this statement "I already have my salary credited to my POSB bank acct and my home loan (serviced by CPF) is with DBS."

I too have a cpf HDB loan. It's the normal HDB loan that is at 2.5percent interest.that is not counted right haha..

If loan is with HDB, not with DBS/POSB, then of cos not counted.

Could you elaborate how this combo work please? Thank you
if you previously registered and is eligible for the BYOB campaign, it will work concurrently with the multiplier programme.

Just applied for the multiplier account. Can i confirm some stuff?

1. I transfer up to 50k into this account to take advantage of it
2. I can credit my salary into my POSB savings account and it's counted to the multiplier
3. I will probably need to get a POSB/DBS credit card, currently holding a debit card only. Which one are u guys using? Does topping up ezlink using VISA/mastercard counted?
4. I am purchasing $500 of G3B monthly with POSB invest savers. This is not counted? Means I have to cancel and reapply again?
5. For the investment FAQ, what does " recognised for the first 12 consecutive months" mean? Means after 12 months, they stop counting that into the multiplier?

DBS has promotion for BYOB (ended in 31 Oct 2017). If you have previously registered and eligible for it, you can apply for DBS Multiplier.

BYOB needs you to credit salary into any account and monthly transfer ($10 to $3000) to SAYE account to get 2% interest payable on 13th and 25th month.

Additional 2% interest if you use debit/credit card 5 times monthly (no minimal spend).

For Multiplier, you need to credit salary to any DBS/POSB account and use credit (not debit) card at least once.

Hence by crediting salary and use your CREDIT (not debit) card 5 times in a month, you will fulfill requirements for both BYOB and Multiplier.

Hi Trazora,

Regarding point 2 : I can credit my salary into my POSB savings account and it's counted to the multiplier

How does it work? Is Multiplier just an something that is like a 'rider' to the normal savings account? Or does it come with a seperate account number?

For some reasons, I managed to clock total transaction above $15,000 (as shown in Bank and Earn Summary).

With fulfillment of salary crediting and two other criteria, should entitled to 2.30% bonus interest (before deduction of basic interest of 0.5%)

So it is 2.25% x average balance of 50k. But what I received was much lesser than $95.50.

Something wrong with Dec 2017 bonus interest....?

DBS multiplier is a savings account with separate account number. Bonus interest is calculated based on the amount of balance in the dbs multiplier account. However, the transactions to meet the criteria for bonus interest % are taken across all your posb/dbs accounts.

Nice thanks so much! ;)

Wow i'm impressed by POSB/DBS! Instant application and approval of Multiplier account via iBanking!

Just to double confirm, housing loan can be deducted from my normal savings account and not necessary the Multiplier account to enjoy the benefits right?
