DBS called me back this morning to confirm that paying insurance using the POSB everyday card will be considered retail spend and qualifies for multiplier bonus interest under Credit Card Spend ✌️ can save on the CardUp commission.

how you save on cardup fee this way? Btw eAXS payments or payment directly to insurance using posb/dbs credit card also count to multiplier and no fees.

I mean initially I was using Cardup with UOB One so that my insurance payments are eligible for UOB cash rebates..

next month I'm switching the insurance payment to DBS multiplier to clock a higher tier so don't need to use CardUp liao lor.. that's what I mean by saving the fee..

Pay your UOB credit card bill with your DBS credit card so you can double dip on your UOB One cashback and DBS Multiplier interest.

Wah, first time annual fee waiver for POSB Everyday rejected by DBS. Luckily I still have Live Fresh card to clock credit card spending for Multiplier acc.
Seems DBS stop being lenient :s11:
My annual fees in Oct and Nov were still waived upon request.
Haiz, will cross the bridge when I get there..

Surprisingly SCB has not been charging annual fee to my spree card for past few years, no need to ask for waiver :s13:

good only if the amount just nice upgrade to the next tier for multiplier.

UOB One also need to maintain same expenditure for 3 straight months.

so overall have to be careful planning the expenses and which card to use...

CardUp only useful if rebate is more than commission.. so like the extra interest from a higher tier may not be worth it actually.

I also shocked they rejected.

Called the hotline to cancel 3 cards.

What I have learnt so far is diversification is super impt. Investment instruments, bank acct, credit card etc all must diversify. One shutdown the other can use. Never be held ransom except for some issues is no choice as the makers are black-hearted and evil.

If I stop my existing ETF bought under RSP, but did not sell, and after 6 months, I re-apply RSP for the same ETF, can qualify as new "Investment" category??

The fAq quite clear leh. Take a look?
This??

Can I terminate my existing DBS Invest-Saver and re-purchase so they will be recognised?

No. For the re-purchase to be recognised, the fund has to be terminated and fully redeemed for at least 6 months from the date of termination or date of full redemption, whichever is later. Alternatively, you may consider purchasing a new fund to continue recognition.
Example:
Termination Date29 April
Full Redemption Date30 April
Re-purchase Set Up DateRe-purchase after 30 October will be recognised
