Even 0.01 also can if can find.

Can actually redeem as soon as credited. Don’t need to wait for 12 months.

if willing to DIY, got some UT that can buy for as low as $1. But if using RSP, those bond etf fee is 0.5% vs the rest is like 0.82%

so decide what’s more important? Low cost or low outlay?

Depending on age might not be eligible for those cheap term insurance

Can intro which ut or bond minimum is 1 dollar?
Click for quite a while cannot find

yes. usually shows up on T+2 and the next day on the app. But for etf case, it is only once off. The next month you have to buy a different etf not this same one in order to tick this cat.
Hmmm why etf cannot keep buying same?

That was my understanding, is it wrong? Because:

On https://www.dbs.com.sg/personal/deposits/multiplier/faqs.page, under Unit Trust Lump-Sum
Only new Unit trust lump-sum purchase(s) made in cash, funds from your DBS CPFIA or DBS SRS account after you have successfully opened your DBS Multiplier Account will be recognised as eligible transactions.

(in my own case, bought etf only once as I usually go for very very very very cheap shares)
yea that’s for AFTER opening multiplier account.

What's the charges for purchase and sale ?

Seems right. My policy expired on 5 April 2025. Hopefully the CSO is able to help me then.
To update on this, I contacted DBS via digibot "contact me" on 10 May.

Received 1st reply on 12 May saying they have forward to relevant department.

Received 2nd reply on 14 May saying they will credit the additional interest upon approval from relevant party.

Received the 3rd reply and additional interest on 22 May.

Case closed.

Question about DBS Invest :
Lets say invest monthly $1000
Sales charge : 0.82% = $8.2
The amount reflected in app is after deducting the sales charges? Or when will the sales charges be deducted etc.

Like I invested two months and now app show value of S$2088. Does this means i made a gain of 4+% , or this havent deducted the sales charges.

under the bank and earn you will see the "as of date". so when the as of date is today, then it should be updated (but I will suggest giving it a +1 day allowance)

hi - trying to unlock insurance category, to confirm, I can just buy protectfirst for $5/mthly and then 12 months later cancel.

What is the easiest way to cancel? Write in / Call in to manulife? Won't be blacklisted from buying things in the future right?

Yea why not? What concerns might you have?

The protect first page faq got say.

People will suggest to just terminate the giro which is why not. But should also just cancel it formally via what’s mentioned in faq

We wouldn’t know.
