i am undecided between which insurance product i should use only for the purpose of unlock insurance category.

there's the lump sum endowment option 5k which won't "cost" you but i realise it's become 3 years instead of 1 year. lock lump sum for 3 years in exchange for 1 year bonus interest seem to be a bit not worth, but then it's 5k hmm..

and then there's the monthly insurance option but its like sunk cost, can't get back. which one do you guys pick for a low cost monthly insurance for unlocking insurance category? ProtecFirst for critical illness or TermProtect for term life insurance (or there's some other product having even lower monthly cost)? less than 50 years old.

I have 2 members of my family (age 50-58) unable to buy Savvy 22 online .... not sure why, but it could be that they need to do a "profile update" with DBS using SingPass to ensure that they are legitimate Singapore Citizens?

Anyone with knowledge about such incidents?
