Anyone who is on the DBS Treasure trial promotion since last year Sep?
It is going to end soon and there is a $50 monthly fee if AUM <200K in DBS.

For those who joined the promotino, will you mostly continue to just opt out? There doesn't seem to have any good promo in DBS to keep 200K inside..

It's really unbecoming for a bank like this to do such a thing to force people to queue in person... yet bragging about how it's the world's no.1 digital bank.

At least pump up the number of service staff to meet the demand instead of having a pool of 'wealth managers' chilling in the glass cubicles looking at their laptop.

problem is that i threw that away
Based on past patterns, the Branch Bonus interest will be credited by end of the same month when the Earmark is released. eg. if your earmark is released earlier this month in Mar, the interest will be credited latest by end-Mar. Of course, it will be credited to the same a/c that you earmark.
Next time, just use your mobile phone to take a photo of it before throw away.

For the March earmark, the money will be released in early Jun but interest will be credited in late July though......

yes, I went to a branch which closes at 5.30pm as it suits my working hours (other branches close much earlier like 4pm...)

the staff at the branch are VERY proactive. they have a couple of staff just focusing on managing the queue to find out what are their needs, then quickly sort them into the different 'channels' for queue numbers. this is unlike some branch I went (I shall not mention) where there's a single channel/queue for every issue - small or big.

and the staff are also very knowledgeable about CASA promo and immediately guided me with the necessary forms, verification and so on. I did not even have to go to the counters where they are dealing with people with more complicated matters.

all in all it took me less than 45 minutes which to me is decent given the huge crowd (always the case in the late afternoons). the paper work takes actually only 5 to 10 minutes (to check particulars and to get approval 'inside' with some supervisor or something).

but I think regardless of branch, the best time if one can afford is to go in the late morning - usually people are still working... hahha

my experience may be considered myopic as it's an isolated visit. maybe that day the branch had a shortage of manpower...

anyway, just trying to show the two types of 'crowd management' for those who're going to queue. not so much criticising the particular branch(es).
