My lvl4 portfolio hasn't been rosy since this year mid-Feb. More recently the situation in China has been shaving off the returns from MCSI China. Will monitor for 1 or 2 more months, as there is a likelihood of me shifting out of digiportfolio if the performance falter further.
how do you get this chart?

If this kind of movement make you worry then please keep your money in bank deposit. Save yourself the trouble.

Why UT over ETF? Looking specifically at the Global Portfolios, they are very different products, with probably the biggest difference being that the ETF version is rebalanced quarterly, while the UT version is rebalanced 'tactically' (whatever that means). Perhaps it's all just marketing BS, but the reality is also that over the same period of time, the UT version has outperformed the ETF version, across all 3 risk levels.

I find it hard to believe that the UT versions can outperform the ETF version, especially that there's another layer of fee involved. Based on the data published on Digiportfolio (as of today), there's no clear winner.

Had considered putting some money into Digiportfolio for fun, but every time I checked, it wasn't doing as well as my IWDA/EIMI mix over similar periods - so no point.

The risk level is different. IWDA/EIMI is 100% equities, while even the Fast & Furious is 75% I think. But yeah, if you are adept at investing yourself in ETFs, it is better to skip the Robos. The Robos are basically for people who dont know how stock markets or brokerage accounts work, dont know what is bid ask spread, limit order market order etc and just have DBS ibanking app and just want to invest by clicking a few buttons to transfer money from savings account to the digiportfolio account. The ease of doing it is the main draw.

you just buy on tues and alr you ask this qn? do you know what you are investing, firstly? you chose the highest level so the volatility also higher, in investing there's no sure upwards trend and a loss is a normal. currency fluctuation also plays a part.

Bro, wait after 5 years then think of this question, investing is long term.
Yah, guess i will just ignore the fluctuations and only give it a peep every 3 mths since i have alrdy committed tis investment for min 5yrs.
But tat exchange rate frm DBS really sucks! Esp when u invested a considerable amt.

I put in digiportfolio for quite some time and didn't even know there is a chart. 😅

If want to put in robo, just occasionally see the returns will be better? If everyday go monitor, it defeats the purpose of investing through a robo. This is what I feel. If after few months, one year or few years, you feel this robo is lousy, look at a good point to just redeem lor.

Honestly don’t believe it’s hybrid robo with human touch. Just dbs marketing bs lol. 0.75% pa haven’t include gst btw. Everyone gets the same orders, no one portfolio is unique. We should not be paying so much.
there is a slight difference wch i noticed, a global portfolio bought in 2019 versus now. the content of the portfolio has a slight variation. initially i thought every person/portfolio with the same risk level has the same until i open up the portfolio to see.

and yes, it's not full robo. there's portfolio manager doing the adjustments every quarters to ensure that the risk and value does not deviate from the end goal that the customer wants. the fees are that particular service of managing/re-balancing hence the semi-robo.

Actually if you know how to invest in etf, then try to avoid the digiportfolio this kind. Many gurus feel that is not the right way. Over time, you are paying added layer of fees which is quite high
