What is the difference between my account, multiplier and eMCA? Seems like all can hold foreign currency but eMCA has $2 monthly charge + cheque book?

I have check DBS Remit USD service.

For $10,000SGD the recipient will receives USD7471.

If I go Arcade moneychanger, I can get around USD7524.

I save about USD50.

Trying to reload my crypto exchange wallet.

Yes, you can do so, but there is a 1.5% fee to deposit USD notes, and they only accept good condition, clean notes only.

You'll end up with less USD doing the above, compared to simply depositing your SGD and directly converting it to USD.

Hi guys, need some advice on one of my refund for DBS MCA. I have previously made an online purchase in USD and the exact amount was deducted from my MCA in USD without any currency conversion fee and admin fee. However when I am requesting for a refund later, DBS refund this amount back to my MCA in SGD, hence resulting in loss from currency conversion. Is this correct? Shouldn't DBS return the exact amount in USD back to my MCA account?

Contact dbs and try to dispute it

yes, I have already contacted DBS to dispute it and it takes some time for them to check. But shouldn't it be a straight foward case of just refunding in the same currency?

Have anyone encountered the same situation as mine?

I'm having the same problem as you. Called them three times, each time say they will look into it and call me back but never have.

This thread just reminded me to follow up about it again with another call. :(

I've done USD purchases with refunds from the same merchant in the past, and the funds were always returned to my USD wallet. Only this time it didn't (purchase was done in the last week of Dec 2020, and refund came in the first week of 2021).

What's the point of ur reply since all is check w dbs?? 0 value
Erm.

did you misread? I said there should be a fee of xxx. But to CHECK with the party that is charging to confirm.

will you be able to confirm and be RESPONSIBLE for such information provided, since it might change any time and the actual circumstances might differ that’s not being stated in full?

what’s the purpose of your post since it doesn’t address anything that’s being asked?

He gave his answer but checking with dbs is the failsafe. Many members may reply like that too, nth wrong.

Over here It's a open knowledge sharing based on personal experience but ppl should learn to take comments with cautions, bcos ultimately the answer from bank will be most accurate and Hwz is ultimately not the Customer service hotline.
