Just went into the T3 DBS Lounge in March.
I'm not a frequent traveller and usually fly from singapore to other places and back for holidays.
So, to me .. the experience of the lounge in T3 is poorer than if you were to just go walk around the public area in T3.. hehe..
So many things to do in public area versus the T3 lounge.
Only got complimentary food .. and that's about it.
Won't go in again.. I prefer the public area.
He he. I am not sure which public area you go to. Are you sure it's better than DBS Treasures lounge? As a frequent traveller, I appreciate the warmly prepared food at the DBS Treasures lounge. There is individually prepared food, often mee siam, prata, carrot cake, chicken rice, muesli, cheese and fine wine. Even Dom Perignon. Not the horrible vines they serve on flight or in SQ Business Class lounge even.
There is comfortable space between tables. It's always private, restful, clean and service is attentive. You have Dyptique perfumes for a last minute perfume refreshment. Food is top notch. Definitely not the buffet-style, dry, over-cooked fried vermicelli at other lounges.
There is more than "complimentary" food. You can do your last minute banking services. You can also get a massage or surf internet on the ample iMac stations. There is always a relationship manager on-site to help you. So I am not sure if you're talking about the same lounge.
