Received this email too.
very underwhelming and still need 350k. They're too anxious to brag about this metric (xx% of customers are assigned an RM etc) in their annual report

200k can go for SCB or HSBC premier with lounge, priority pass, open overseas accounts, waiver of many charges/ fees.

I think 350k is to start with the Treasures, after than you just need to maintain 200k, same as SCB or HSBC.

sorry to bump this thread

I just received an email that I qualify for DBS Treasures, but I find there are so many conditions to fulfil (see images below).

What's the point of joining where I need to maintain minimum portfolio balance of S$200,000?
Because DBS only want people with more than S$200,000 to join mah.

But what is the point of joining DBS Treasures when DBS will charge you custodian fees for AUM (foreign stocks etc) after 2027? Investing is a long-term affairs and once you are in DBS Treasures, you are stuck for >30 years!

So you mean so many people are so stupid that they signed up DBS Treasures just to see chio RM and so cheapo just for DBS Treasures angbao? 🤭

Many other banks also have chio RM and give free AngBao and also free Birthday Cake and also free Moon-Cake and free Airport Lounge Access and Free Airport Limousine transfer etc AND YET MINUS the expensive AUM Custodian Fees that you need to pay DBS every year for joining DBS Treasures...
