it's for a the greater good. discourage people from jumping into a subpar card when there are better alternatives. which forces the product manager to come up with a better offer for everyone else.
it doesn't when you are just trashing without adding any new substantive argument.

ok la i summarise again for the lazy product manager:

vs amex hf:
1. spend bonus lose to amex hf (27k for 8k spend in 2 mths vs 49k for 5k spend in 3 mths)
2. annual fee lose to amex hf (588.50 vs free)
3. exclusions lose to amex hf (1 billion exclusions vs no exclusions)
4. earn rate lose to amex hf (1.5mpd vs 1.8mpd)
5. only pp beat amex hf (10 vs 2)

vs citi prestige:
1. spend bonus lose to citi prestige (27k for 8k spend vs 16k for 800 spend)
2. annual fee lose to citi prestige (588.50 vs 535)
3. exclusions lose to citi prestige (citi can use for medical and other things)
4. pp lose to citi prestige (10 vs unlimited +guest)
5. hotel benefits lose to citi prestige (1 night free vs unlimited 4th night free)
6. only earn rate beat citi prestige (1.5 vs 1.3)

product manager when you read this, consider bumping the benefits in 2-3 of the categories otherwise your card can go in the trash bin

From the Telegram Group, seems to be reported that DBS has clarified that the payment via iPayMy and CardUp will not count towards hitting the $8K spending within 60 days to earn the bonus miles.

Should be, is still indicated in their website:
"*4 miles per dollar or 4% cashback on Dining and Petrol spend is capped at S$2,000 spend per calendar month and valid till 31 December 2022."
