No it is not . Normal bill payment will only use your credit limit balance , not cash advance . It doesn't collect any points nor rebate though.

If I paid the $40 to convert DBS points to KF miles on 1st Apr 2013, will the unlimited conversion be valid till next year's 1st Apr 2014 or will it be valid only up till my next CC annual fee payment date?

Yes this is the reply DBS gave me. I am contesting this though as I wouldn't be privy to the internal workings of the hotel. To the consumer, a booking/payment online equates an online transaction.

They have escalated up to higher management for approval and said it would take some time. I am giving them until tomorrow to reply me because it has been a month since my first enquiry to them.

The CSO has replied to say that management has approved the bonus points. It took a total of 1.5 months and a total of 12 emails. Don't know when the bonus points will be credited to my account though.

Bored so just wanna write something...

I've moved some of my payments to the UOB Preferred Visa as points are credited promptly. DBS Woman's only give the extra 9x points on the 16th of the following month, which makes it harder to keep track.

I will still use this card to make airline ticket purchases as well as certain online purchases that cannot earn 10x for UOB Preferred Visa.

Be careful abt this and UOB pp visa, both are extremely tricky!

Recently called in to ask them to check for my missing points and found out that groupon and Singtel mybill payments were not considered online payments even though I had to pass thru MasterCard secure code OTP... Will be following up to screw them for my missing 9x points on many other txns.

As for UOB, nuff said that all points are awarded per $5 per transaction (not aggregated at the bill level). This simply makes the card "unusable" on sites like gmarket if u often buy things at $2-$4.99. 0 points awarded for that!

uob one is known issue,always try to avoid if can.

i use dbs woman cc to pay singtel, starhub bill through their own site got the 10x points. u may fight for it if not get it
