Oh gee, lucky i kept everything, but its going to be quite mafan to keep sending.

It is because comfort processes it manually (dont know what that means) so dbs side cannot recognize it as a 10x transaction

Solution is, unless comfort does something, every month got to send msg in ibanking and attach comfort e-receipts

Woh.. DBS has became official sponsor of this forum liao...

previously O was sponsor for all of MM ... not just CC sub forum right ?

wonder if it was a hostile takeover or it just folded under its self induced irrelevance ?

Uber & Grab are considered as online transactions

well, i had been asked to collate and submit all my receipts in scan on internet banking secured mail. Do i have to do it for my online transactions every month?

Okay that makes sense cos I did hit $2,000 and still got 3X so I was confused whether it was really a 3X to begin with.

Does this "overcap 3X" exception apply to all foreign online purchases? Also, is the timing of the foreign purchases relevant (ie we should incur local online first to meet the cap at the beginning of the month and only do the foreign online towards the end).

Of course, admittedly, the better way is to simply move the foreign online onto another card which gives 10x, but just for discussion sake.

From experience, 10x points first till $2000 thereafter 3x points.

My guess is it applies for any online transaction in foreign currency, not excluded in the TnC. And timing sequence within the calendar month don't matter.

That's not bad, that means DBS's internal computing system does calculate the "best" value for its customers. Interesting.
