Did u talk to a CSO? Or u din do anything and DBS auto credit back the missing points?

Talked to CSO on Aug.16 when I noticed there was 2K+ points missing from my bonus points. The CSO called back last week to inform me that that's something wrong on DBS end and they will credit my points this week.

Greetings fellow DBS Women’s world card holders. Given that the DBS points earned expires annually, how often do you do a transfer to miles?

seems like many exclusions - Payments to professional service providers (including but not limited to accounting,
auditing, bookkeeping services, advertising services, funeral service and legal services
and attorneys);

Apple store online

I recently pre-ordered the new apple phone and watch with my DBS WWMC on 13 SEP.. but there was no OTP and till today, I do not see the transaction under un-billed.

Will this still be considered as online purchase? Or does apple online process payments later?

The 10X DBS Points are only applicable for the first S$2,000 online spend per calendar month. For
every S$5 online spend, 1X DBS Point (for local transactions) or 3X DBS Points (for overseas
transactions) will be awarded on the next working day, when the retail purchase transaction is
posted to the Card Account. The remaining additional 9X DBS Points (for local transactions) or 7X
DBS Points (for overseas transactions) will be awarded in the next statement month cycle.

Actually same statement from previous tnc (June 27, 2019).

BTW, last month they got big hiccup with the bonus points.

Now it comes the problem, when I asked DBS CS what do they mean by next statement cycle, they can’t answer.

For example, if my billing cycle is from 30 Jul to 30 Aug, and if I performed transaction on (a) 15 Aug, does it mean this transaction will be posted in 31 Aug to 30 Sep statement; and

(b) if I made a transaction on 31 Aug, since it’s already under in the next statement but still in the month of Aug, will this bonus posted by October statement.

No one can answer actually. And this change is really hard to trace if last month’s transaction is valid before making the same one in current month, such as caroupay.

I interpret as for transactions posted in 31Aug to 30Sep, x7 or x9 bonus points will be awarded in 1Oct to 30Oct statement. When transaction get posted depends when the merchant do the posting.

that's y banks made it very difficult for them n customers.

should jus standardise statememt cycle date as 1st of month. y cannot? took much work for them to generate all customers statement on same date?

the reason most billing organisation (telcos, banks, etc) stagger bill cycles/date is so as to disperse out the stress on their systems. if there are too many batch jobs done within a day, the system cannot handle too much jobs at a go. hence system are built to stagger bills cycles differently by default to indv custs.
