haha wondering i will get 6% on ocbc frank if i apply for the ESTA application haba

Hi pcmdan,

We came across your tweet and thought to share that a transaction’s eligibility for FRANK online rebate, very much depends on how a merchant/organization and its acquiring bank classify the transaction.

It might also be worth noting that payments to government institutions are generally excluded from the online transaction category.

I just stopped my GIRO for HDB monthly renewal of season parking to use credit card.

The payment is processed by external party "Cybersource", and requires SMS OTP to be keyed in, so I suspect it will qualify as an online transaction.

Unfortunately for now I am linking the HDB season parking renewal to my UOB ONE card as need to meet the $500 minimum spend per month (trying to auto as much as possible), but in the future may use this for DBS Woman's Card if it is considered an online transaction. Will update how the line item is reflected as in the credit card statement after the deduction next month.

i spent around 290 on comfort cabs using the app, but did not get my bonus points for them. anyone got it?

1 more question.
if i spend $23 on a bill, is it recognized nearest $5 rounded down, so that means i should get 4 points for it? instead of 23/5 = 4.6 points?

Didn't get any bonus points from comfort cab. Later I will have to call.
It is either my Groupon didn't get any points or my comfort cab.

Is it correct to say need to spend a minimum of $500 to reach 5k points and transfer the points earned (since points expire yearly)?

Also, for online hotel/travel spending, its better to use this card than Altitude Visa?

$500 = $500/5 *10 = 1000 pts. U mean u alr have 4k pts?

anyway to ur qns..altitude visa gives much less pts den this card...if points is your main concern..this card is better
