Actually its the transaction date. I recently did a online purchase on 30th june, hoping it would be posted as a july transaction and i had to appeal for them to count the transaction towards July's as i have already clocked 2k for june.

My case similar. I purposely transact on 1st day of mon at Amazon ar 1am plus. But few days later it showed that transact made on last day of previous mon. Need to call back to flight for it.

Pls take note of time zone diff if u transact on 1st day of the month.

If DBS can remove the $2k cap like UOB, it will be the best card!

$2k is too little for purchasing air tickets sometimes.

That would be nice, but UOB excludes some travel costs like airfare or hotel transactions from the online bonus.

$2k is definitely on the low side for purchasing tickets, though even if the ticket costs $4k then you're still better off using this card.

If its $4k it may be better to use anz travel visa & save ur $2k limit for other cases.

With the UOB PPV they will check the transaction to make sure it doesn't come under travel, but with the Woman's card shouldn't they let all transactions done online slide through at 10x? I cannot imagine DBS making a list of all internet merchants out there, so I assume they would give 10x on all online spend...

That's true, my DBS points from Woman's card is messed up hehe... Not sure how they calculate it... I keep getting the wrong figures hehe...

Because they calculate all the transactions using base rate base on statement then award the rest of the 9x base on calendar month and award at the mid of next month. I have no problems at all with mine.

Yeah, I know about that. Maybe some transactions are not 10x eligible? Btw, what's the formula you use for this card?

Do you just compare with the next statement or actually check any bump in accumulated points on the 15th of each month?

The good thing is that this card is pretty much only good for internet purchases (unlike the UOB PPV which is my #1 for most daily transactions), so it stays at home and the number of transactions to keep track off is quite low.

Yes, i keep track of the points credited at the mid of the months so i know exactly how much points is the 9x and how much is for current month transactions.

The formula, if any, is the same as UOB preferred- dif is the 9x point is given on the 16th of next month
Say I spend $100 this month, I will get 20 DBS points. Then, by 16th next month, another 180 will be given ,making it a total of 200 DBS points
