I managed to get a 10k personal loan from hsbc even with HH rating.. I think they pretty flexible. But once you hit June.. they won’t entertain if you’re above 6x monthly salary..

Can you pm me the contact person? Yours is HH with default status? Currently I have zero debt with banks

Don’t know who is worst. I submitted my 3 months payslip with the exclusion of my bonus. Now they ask me for cpf contribution and it was obvious that I had my bonus which I did not declare. Now I am worried that they will terminate my application as it has been approved.

Anyone has good advise/ view on this?

For your case, u wanna try to Ask if can submit 3 months salary first. If officer insist, then abit tough. Try ur luck on Hsbc loan? Like what Jojo has advised. Jia you!
Me now damn worried.

Oh dear. I thought you’ve gotten approval for quite awhile now and HSBC would have paid all the banks by now?

Congrats!!

Thank you. I racked up my credit card bills due to stress spending mainly and the interest is just too high and hard to deal with over time. It’s extremely painful and stressful and no one really knows how much I owe. Only 2 friends knew I was applying for DCP and had been really supportive of me and whatever efforts I’ve made to pay my debt. So I am grateful for this last chance to start afresh.

Yes, it was approved early May and HSBC has paid all my outstanding. My CSO said she checked with her colleague and it should be fine since it’s approved. I went to check on termination rights by the bank, they do have the right if they deem that my information is not accurate. I might be over thinking and worried but want to be safe here. Seeking for some advise if any of e peer has encountered such similar cases.

I think everyone face similar issue when we are in such platform. Everyone striving hard and hoping to start afresh. U are brave to share with your friends. I don’t even have the courage to share with my spouse or close friends. Hoping to get all these sorted out myself.. and get this right for this last chance.

I only told 2 friends whom I know will not see me in the worst light. My spouse knows I’ve cc debt except that he does not know how bad it was. Actually my debt wasn’t that bad early last year and could have been paid off if I was disciplined. Instead, each time I got stressed out over certain issues, it’d trigger my spending. I’m not giving excuses for my bad behaviour as the fault and responsibility lies with me.

I shared with 2 friends because I couldn’t bear the mental burden. And I was under extreme pressure when my employer announced that it was restructuring earlier this year and the fear of not being able to meet minimum payments triggered me to look into DCP and that was how I ended up here and got the names of the CSO to call. Thankfully I managed to retain my job and it did wake me up to find a way out of this.

Of course you need to be careful who you share the information with. When I shared with one other Friend (not these 2 I mentioned) about having to make installment payments under a credit card, all I got was judgemental comments from her which did not help at all. In fact it triggered me further. Of course the responsibility is still mine. But I regretted sharing with her because all I ever got from her was nagging (not in a nice way) and derision. Once when I was attempting to put money aside, she simply told me that I should keep my money with her so that I will not spend it. When she heard my employer might restructure, the manner in which she questioned me was like I’ll definitely have no money to pay for the installments under that balance transfer loan.

It’s easier to write about it in a forum anonymously.

I would like to thank everyone who has shared their experiences here as it had been really helpful.

Oh dear, did they ask for last year’s NOA when you first made the application? I really hope it’s nothing in your case.

Nope. It was based on 3 months salary slip. Only after when it got approved, I was asked to furnished my cpf/ salary crediting account.

Just like to check, for the cbr report, they update on which day of every month? Trying to temporarily increase my cc limit and cash advance it out, so that I could clock my 12x, but wont be spending the amount that I cash advance out.

Just to share, I just got approval from DBS which is a relief. I’ll call the other bank tomorrow to ask them to stop processing my application.

From my experience I think beginning n mid month, CBS will update. But not sure if you still can increase ur cc limit. I did tried previously thinking to cash out money to increase bti but the increase of my limit got rejected. Maybe temporarily increase might work. Good luck.
