It's not a lie. We cannot afford to pay the silly banks the high interest any longer. Cost of living is going up.

Just called HSBC, they said no issue to leave the card suspended, and annual fees will be waived. Just have to call in. They're sending me the excess too.

The foreign banks are willing to let me keep my cards suspended and will be able to waive the annual fees when they are charged, but the local banks indicated that they will still charge annual fees, so hmm.

Anyway gonna cancel most of them and only retain SCB and HSBC I think. Gonna wave goodbye to the local banks.

Can totally understand that bro...last evening when the CSO called me, my heart was also pumping super fast....i was expecting her to tell me that my application has been rejected..but when she told me it has moved on to final stage of approval, i was more relieved...but now even more kan cheong...will I know of the outcome within the next few days ??

me too.. having rejected so many times..be it due to not eligible or rejections..

Ocbc Is tough but nevertheless don't give up hope! All we need is a chance from the banks for us to clear our debts asap. I also hope to get the opportunity to clear off my debts and have a new life!

Prepared ur docs for DMP already? You can download the self help kit (white paper) to write down your budget even before you get the blue form.

This morning I also checked and bought my ** report... my rating never improved and I have one overdue amount whc was alrdy cleared last month... the figure is still there!
