I chanced upon this very active thread and hope to get some answers here:
How does CBS determine our score?
2 yrs ago I had HH score but fully cleared my liabilities. I have been trying to repair my credit score ever since. Early this year, score was CC. In June, it became BB. I continued to use my just 1 card and made full payments every month. This morning when I bought my CBS report, i had a shock and saw HH.
Called the officer and she just said they have an algorithm to calculate which doesnt make sense at all. She said she and her colleague were looking at the report and did not understand why this happened as well. Called up my only credit card bank DBS and the officer said my payments are extremely prompt and in full.
I am wondering is it i made a big purchase for insurance premiums a few days back using my card (which I already paid in full at axs) that caused a sudden surge in usage = high risk?
Or the officer said may be because one of the cards with good payment is removed from my archive due to 3 years lifespan, which caused a drop in aggregate (average) score?
Im thinking of going to the MP if i dont get a satisfactory answer from cbs.
