Hi guys! I'm new here as you can see. I'm currently owing Starhub telco line abot 2k and got issued a letter of demand asking me to settle payment in full within 7 days which is impossible at the current state i'm in. I'm working part time and my pay isnt that high. Any idea what comes next/ will happen if i do not make payment?

My debt to starhub 4800 ,,letter of demand past 1 week , no money pay , wait for next action from starhub. I think of later salary pay 100 first , at least got show i no intention to run road.

I'm intending to do the same too, like pay bit by bit but idk if i call them to ask for installment plan would they request more for each payment( e.g 500 per month)

Due to making fast money sign many plan sell the new phone then can't pay monthly subcription, line terminated and penalty incurred.

by the way, for the money that u gotten from selling the handset. if you pay religously, do u still get a small amount of money at the end of the transaction?

sad to say, many dont bother abt long term but desperate times calls for desperate move, sign line get phone and sell gets u fast cash immediately.

No payment 100% debt collector will come ,just don't know if monthly partial payment can drag how long.

your only way now when you receive the lawyer letter, work out an installment plan with the lawyer and pay the agreed amount timely. debt collector cost more than a lawyer letter.

I hv just pay 400/ 4800 to starhub, 300/5560 to singtel, ever try call these 2 fu*king telco , more than 20 mins give me listen music and robot talking .,knnn

that is a good amount, keep it up. Remember to keep all the receipt to show that you had made timely payment if they request or to proof that you have paid telco instead of ignoring (usually law firm will ask for receipt as they do not have access to any telco's bank finance facility.)

how possible ? if the handset > monthly payment x months , the mobile plans would be free

thats why i raised the question at him.

example the highest tier for free iphone is $100/month

he sign the contract, he get free iPhone but he is liable for 2.4k at the end of the contract. he sold the iphone on the spot for $1.6k (example) he will have an instant debt of 800 out of the thin air. $800 can do a lot of other things. The only winner is telco and the handphone buyer.

Applied to SCB DCP, 7 years at 10.28%..
FF rating
4607 monthly
63k outstanding
BTI 13.3x

SCB CSO said my case looks good. Yesterday saw address changed SMS. Then CSO called me... to tell me

I need to pay $220 over limit fee before they can proceed with approval. -.- argh!!!!!!!!!!

Anyone here with SCB approval yet? I know it’s one of the highest interest rates around..
