Applied to SCB DCP, 7 years at 10.28%..
FF rating
4607 monthly
63k outstanding
BTI 13.3x

SCB CSO said my case looks good. Yesterday saw address changed SMS. Then CSO called me... to tell me

I need to pay $220 over limit fee before they can proceed with approval. -.- argh!!!!!!!!!!

Anyone here with SCB approval yet? I know it’s one of the highest interest rates around..

You are paying 4607 a month for the next 7years? You owe half a million or 63k?

Oops hahahaha I meant..

My salary is 4607 monthly

Payment will be $1.1k a month for 7 years

Your salary quite high, must be some uni graduate. If you still single, y not use 3 yrs time to settle it? 7 yrs is very long, they get to eat your interest alot.

Yes I’m a Uni grad, been working for 4 years. Married Liao with house. Renovation stuck. Was told to get on DCP first and try renovation loan for better chance since my DTI will be lower.

I suppose 7 years is a Long time.. but after deduction of expenses, I’m left with quite a small amount if I take a shorter tenor. 7 years seemed like the just nice figure to take. Also was told that I can do early repayment after 4-5 years if I get a big bonus by then. Hopefully get one fat 20k bonus to just throw all in to close. Then stop all interest.

But anyone here has approval with SCB? Noticed a few, but seems like most approvals either from MBB or HSBC, both banks which I tried and failed due to Low BTI.

HSBC told me to try again this month as it’ll pass 4 months since my last try,

wa bro

4607 basic or gross? the application is basic or gross?

been thinking to apply DCP but doubt can go through

For me
2850 basic
450 monthly average comm
400 month average (PT job)

2017 NOA : 45313

Latest unsecured debt 41145

CBS rating
Nov 17: DD - (free from new CC application , stanchart tiger discontinued)
Today: BB

Cash flow wise coping ok , about 60-70% of my salary goes to cc repayments.

But no savings so can't keep at this forever.

Application uses gross salary. My gross is 4607 without allowance.

In your case, I’d suggest you just use 3 months of your pay slip to apply for DCP instead of using your NOA or CPF... with your NOA, your BTI already 10, which is instant rejection as it’s < 12 BTI.

For your recent card application, was it approved or rejected? Also, a rating of BB is very good already, you can apply to all banks..

I would strongly suggest you get onto DCP now while you’re still in early stage of debt.. you’re not too bad considering your BTI is about 14.5 and many banks would still be keen to take you.

I would also suggest you apply to these banks as the interest rate is lower and success rate is higher..

1. MBB
2. HSBC
3. CITIBANK
4. BOC
5. UOB

In that order. Try not to apply all at one time, it’s a risk you take because they’d usually ask if you had applied elsewhere before or currently.

Hope it helps.. and all the best... PM if you have more questions, I’m quite active here.

What if u could pay $1k per month for 60months to clear your 63k debt. Interested? Let me know if u are. Not legal money lender.

My advice dont go for DCP, RAS or DRP.
There a other ways of means to clear your debt.

My wife got scb approved. She needed to withdraw some of the loan though to make it 12x gross salary. They're looking at 12 months gross salary, including your year to date specified in your payslip. Her rating was BB. After dcp approved, her rating went down to FF. Anyone has any similar experience? Will the rating go up eventually?

Does the gross salary include bonuses? I only provided them with 3 months of payslips without showing the bonuses. My bonuses are pretty high... and they’d jeopardise my Application if they are factored in...

Wow BB to FF is quite a huge drop.. what’s the cause by? They’d put there e.g too many enquiries, high credit exposure, delinquency presence etc

Yea includes bonuses. Coz in her payslip got stated year to date amount. If you don't have, then there is no way scb will know your bonus. So your payslip play an important role here. Not sure what is the caused of the drop rating, maybe because she withdraw about 8k to make it through the 12 months? Cbs report can check the cause?

Yes CBS can check the cause.

There’ll be a contributing factors item in the CBS report.

Mine was pretty bad a few months ago... and I was a HH. Had delinquency presence in it. Now it’s gone tho.

I managed to bump myself up to FF recently and started reapplying to DCP banks.

My payslip does not include bonuses. Only the gross. Hopefully they won’t ask for CPF.

They won't. If your payslip never mentioned bonuses why not try dbs? I tried dbs then got approved. For wife she tried hsbc and dbs failed due to bonuses. Luckily scb cso very helpful. The rest like bochup sia
