Hi did you apply online or can you apply in person at the bank?

MY DCP GOT APPROVED! So happy. my rating was HH, got rejected by a lot of banks, then recently become GG, so I went to try applying at UOB, and it got approved within 5 days. SO HAPPY! For those who are still trying don't give up! Just keep trying to improve your rating.

My credit rating is GG, owing amount is around $44K, month salary $3100.

My company wants to send me on an overseas trip in which i would need to apply for a corporate Amex card. Question is, will they look at my credit history and find out im on dcp?

1400+ is very low IMHO. I assume your rating is HH? I was 1700+ and rejected by many banks. You can try with HSBC DCP, you'll get the results fairly quickly. If rejected, then you can go for DMP

That's a really low score. Mine was HH 1600+ and I was rejected by DBS, HSBC, MAYBANK, SCB and HL Bank. After getting rejected from the 5th bank, I decided to not waste anymore time and went on DMP. You can try your luck but if you ask me, based on my experience, don't waste your time on DCP with such score. Another choice is you try to improve you ratings first before trying for DCP. I am in DMP but having corporate Visa card so it might be possible to have corporate Amex if you are in DCP since the liability is shouldered by your company for the charges incurred on the corp card.

Best to check your company's hr and finance rules, though.

I am in DMP but having corporate Visa card so it might be possible to have corporate Amex if you are in DCP since the liability is shouldered by your company for the charges incurred on the corp card.

Best to check your company's hr and finance rules, though.

Received a Balance Transfer cheque from HSBC even though I'm on DCP with them

But lesson learnt, disposed of cheque immediately. Have been paying DCP diligently for 4 months and my CBS rating jumped from HH to BB!

Hey there, I’ll recommend you take the DMP route.. don’t waste your time on DCP as they usually wont entertain rating of 1500 and below.

What is your total outstanding?

Alternatively, CCS is also good.

Yes they will do this. Tell them you prefer to use a debit card for safety purposes. Friend lost his job when he applied a corporate card and the bank found out he’s on DCP..

You will not be able to use all your credit cards, except the credit card that came with your DCP approving bank. I’d suggest you cut up the credit card tho.

Good job bro! I’m on my 8th month of DCP my rating is AA. And I recently got approved on a renovation loan too my total outstanding for unsecured credit.. $68k. Add on my secured loan $30k.

- Maybank
- UOB
- HSBC
- SCB

The rest... not very good ah.

I will give a try. But which bank should I head off to? It's rare for banks to help with low anuual income tho like mine is not even about $30k
