Can i get DCP?

Bros and Sisters,

i just checked my credit report and my score is HH,

Maybe it is because i always have Overdraft for my credit cards account as once they charge interest it becomes OD.

My debt is less than 12 monthly income,

But really hope i can us DCP so i can get out of all this high interests.

Technically i can't apply for DCP, but just want to find out is there still any chances?

Should i check with all the banks?

Try submitting using cpf 15 months history instead of payslips, maybe can hit the 12 month criteria

Bros and sis - remember this - There is many cases in Singapore of debt collection agencies harassing and abusing debtors. It is important to know that debt collectors DO NOT enjoy special privileges, they are bound by the same laws as everyone else. ... Sorry for the late reply. I see. I was actually looking at lowering much more lower than $100 but not too sure if any banks are doing it. I heard that with CCS, it could be much lower?

Yes correct. DBS called me to ask me to refinance and willing to rebate $5000 as the rebate so that can cover the early settlement penalty fees.

Their rates are lower as well, so monthly repayment went down by $100 and 1 year saving will be $1200.

Applied to HLB but got rejected straight away, officer not helpful at all and refuse to appeal for me! My rating is AA n meet BTI criteria. Not sure why they rejected me.

Hi guys, i understand that during this period of repayment, many of you who wanted to go for certain jobs in certain industry are still being rejected due to you DCP. But however, we all know that in order for us to repay this debt faster and get on with our daily lives, we need a high paying job. i also tried applying to HL Bank via their online application, submitted all my docs. and all i got was sorry unsuccessful via an email.

Anyway, any idea how does the disbursement of funds work? Asking because i just got the approval SMS last Friday, and was told that a letter with the disbursement details will be mailed within 2-3 working days. However, most of my bills are due in the next 1-2 weeks and i just gotten my pay. So i'm not sure if I should still pay the bills, or is the DCP gonna kick in soon?

The bank should be disbursing funds within 9 days from date of approval letter. You might want to check with your cso on the bills that are due within these 9 days, just to be sure not to affect your credit rating. Also your cso should be calling you soon to confirm loan disbursement amount and the date on which your first DCP payment is due.

Another reason being the last i rmb was the loan amount was approx 50k. but i logged into my POSB, i have my existing 12k+ of cc bill, and another "Others" at $80k?!

You should see "debt consolidation plan" with the loan amount to be disbursed.

It will take 9 days to clear all balances so wait till day 10 then call to check with the banks.

I’m waiting to hear from Maybank. My employer had to restructure and I suffered a drop in salary since March and I now “qualify”. I finally submitted my payslip yesterday and am waiting to hear from them. I hope it’s approved.

hi all,
my credit score is AA and do not have any credit card outstanding payments and only personal loan and line of credit, which i pay the outstanding amount every month. iam paying around 2k per month and i want to reduce it by going to DCP.

my question is, if i opt for DCP, am i still paying interests to the existing loans and as well to DCP, or DCP will clear all my loans + early closure charges for the existing loans ( thus saving from paying the interest for the remaining perios for my exixting loans).
