Hmm. your annual income 66k means your monthly is $5,500 correct?

If your outstanding is $60,000
Your BTI = $60,000/5,500 = 10.9x
With $60,000 outstanding, you don’t qualify for DCP
With 5% buffer, you still are at $63,000/5,500 = 11.5x. Still don’t qualify.
If your outstanding is $66,000
Your BTI = $66,000/5,500 = 12x exactly
With $66,000 outstanding, you qualify for DCP.
With 5% buffer, you still qualify for DCP.

I’d suggest you to calculate your outstanding carefully and be sure of the total outstanding you have currently.

Also, how recent is your CBS, BB is VERY good, but does not exclusively mean your DCP will be approved. Not necessary to know your rating number since you’re a BB. Should be 1.9k+

Thank you for the advice.
I shall check my total outstanding first.
Heard so far the best rate longes period is dbs , is it correct?

No problem.

Yes, your CBS will not be updated as it's data from 2 months ago. So you should download your latest e-statements and check from there.

It depends how long your tenor is. Try not to go for the longest tenor if you can afford to pay abit more. Best tenor is between 5-7 years.
1. Banks may see longer tenor as a risk to them
2. If you're still young, its better to clear off your DCP so your CBS will be renewed and you can start using unsecured facilities, of cos bearing in mind to be MORE prudent in spending..

Listing out the common DCP approving banks from members in this thread.
Highest approving banks are Maybank/HSBC/UOB.
Lowest approving banks are SCB/DBS/Citibank.

Tho this varies from bank to bank also according to your risk profile.

Basically rule of thumb for DCP applications, your payment cycles and payment history should be BEST with the bank you apply your DCP with.

For 5-7 years
DBS - $99 Processing Fee, From 4.58% (the interest varies)
Maybank - No Processing Fee, Fixed 4.7%
HSBC - No Processing Fee, Fixed 4.7%
SCB - $199 Processing Fee, Fixed 5.68%
UOB - No Processing Fee, From 6% (the interest varies)
Citibank - No Processing Fee, From 6% (the interest varies)

For 8-10 years, the interest increases.

Thank you for the advice.

Was anyone able to get the early settlement fees waived for HSBC personal loans and interest fees? Seems like they don’t allow such waivers.. :/ $250 per account and I have 2 loan accounts = $500. Shucks.

Also, UOB cashplus doesn’t allow for waivers and late fees. So niao. Haha

Maybank best. Waive back all the late fees and overdrawn interest. Saved $400 already. Citibank also good, waive 3 month interest straight!

Thank you for all the infor. Just got my CBS report. It is BB with scoring of 18xx . Just want to check if apply different banks at the same time and got approval let say from 2 different banks. Can choose which to go? Meanwhile after looking at your provided infor, think i will proceed with dbs.
I just spoke with the cso fr dbs, they said will be issue a cc visa card and this is not available at the website. I m thinking if we using this card to make payment. Ppl will think we are on dcp? Sorry i know this is silly question, correct me if i m wrong.

Wow, your scoring of BB and 18xx is excellent!

If you apply from different banks at the same time and got approval from both, the fastest bank to register themself into the DC registry (debt consolidation) registry will be the DCP bank you will be using.

For all DCP programmes with all banks, each bank will issue you a Credit Card with 1x your monthly salary as credit limit. For my case, my gross salary is 4.6k, but they gave me a card with 4.5k limit.

People will NOT know you are on DCP if you make payment with this credit card, as this credit card is what people normally get and can apply to as well. I would suggest you NOT to use this new 1x revolving credit card and use DEBIT cards instead tho.. Just create savings with some banks, and apply for debit cards. Use them for mastercard/visa. Still can use paywave/applepay etc.

In my opinion, I would suggest you NOT to go for DBS as your first choice. I've seen quite little DBS approvals here, and from past forumers experience, the waiting time for status is very long.

However, if you're not in a rush. you can still apply for DBS. Like what others might say, the lowest interest banks may not necessarily be the best approving banks.

Most of the approvals here were from HSBC, Maybank and UOB.

Cheers!

What experience do you have?

Have you been in debt before? Are you on DCP/DMP/DRS/bankrupcy?

not affiliated with them. only giving personal advises to people from experiences . not affiliated with loanshark and not recommend people to borrow from them. loanshark scams and how they mask themselves as a legitimate money lender. general rule, if the interest rate is too good to be true then its not good to be true.

Your posts are useless in this thread.. if you're not helping, then be a master in another thread.

People here are genuinely seeking help, and there you go asking them to play casino. What if they get into more trouble, you're gonna help them out again?

no one will care if you are on dcp or not or what card u use, either u are rich or poor. there are bankrupt people driving lexus as far as u know. if u want face stack notes of 100 in your wallet until it going to burst .

Woohoo! This month my DCP first statement will be out on 24th Jan, and My due date is 20 days after statement.

That means my due date falls on 14th Feb for first payment!

I can skip jan payments to all banks. Have some excess cash to start saving!

Well done. Onwards to a better quality of life. I'm on my 7th month now. But currently contemplating of converting to drs. Anyone successfully tried the same thing?
