Hi..B@@mmy...whats the reason for being rejected as what I know your score is ok. I still cant apply for mine as my ratings dropped this month. I overlooked to pay 2 accts repayment. Spoke to UOB CSO, he advised me to try again next mth. In the meantime, you may want to try with BOC. Someone here recommended to look for Derrick. Just call & ask for the next step.

QUOTE=B@@mmy;112636440]I just join recently and need bro/sis advice on DCP...I apply thru UOB on 02 Jan 18 and application was rejected on 08 Jan 18, My CBS rating is FF with score 1776 based on Dec report and have following factors credit exposure, moderately increase risk, delinquency presence and greatly increase risk...

So can I submit DCP thru another bank or wait till Mar to improve the credit rating then apply?[/QUOTE]

Hi bro, your rating looks okay and not too bad.

However if you had bad payment history with UOB, they would reject you straight out, especially if you have a high credit exposure with them. E.g you’re only paying Min payment every month and you have more than 80% of your credit limit used by UOB.

I’d suggest you apply to banks which you have a good payment history with. Also, I suggest you apply with SCB as the approval chances are higher now.

1. SCB
2. MAYBANK
3. HSBC

In this order. You can apply for 2 concurrently. Whichever approved first will be your DCP bank.

Hi Jojodespo,

Thanks for your advice.. I always pay the min amount due to UOB and at time late payment too which may result to application being rejected.. UOB CSO did advise me to try again in few months time and reminded me to make prompt payment...

By the way,I default payment to SCB about 10 years back for renovation loan and was issued a lawyer letter with court case but everything has been settled and after this i do not own any SCB loans or CC. So will it affect my chances ??

And i just received a call from HSBC CSO few days back on DCP and i tell her my application was rejected from UOB.. She did mentioned different bank work differently and ask me to try it out..

So now basing on above, do you think i should apply to SCB or skip it and go direct to HSBC??

Did you call up HSBC before to apply? Or did you get a call because of an offer for you. If it’s an offer to get on their DCP, chances are higher than if you were to apply yourself.

Also, is your rating HX or HH/HZ?

FF was my rating when I got approved. I’d suggest you try SCB tho... approval chances higher. Not sure if HSBC will approve as I was rejected twice by them.

Enquiry

For those who have applied for the plan, be it successful or not, does the banks called up to your employer and ask question? I cannot afford to let my boss know about my problem now else may loses my job.

Pls advise, thank you

Hi worried bro,

The banks will not call up your employer unless you:
1) are recently employed for less than 3 months;
2) are applying for a DCP in the same bank as where you’re working in; or
3) if you ownself declare to your employer that you’re financially embarrassed.

I doubt you’re in any criteria so the answer is no.

Please quickly apply so you can be financially free of burdens.

A word of encouragement to fellow friends who are currently serving DCP loans, continue to be perseverance and gradually month by month, we will soon clear our DCP loans. For those who have applied, sincerely hope that your application will be approved.

As for myself, I am in the same boat as all, heavily debted. Having been serving DCP for past 1 year, and by God's grace, I am left with 2 more years to complete and will be debt free. 😀 Always think positively.

Have a blessed week ahead, fellow friends. 😎

Hi , I have been receiving sms from banks regarding DCP.

Currently , my outstanding loan approx 50k and my monthly gross about 4.5k. If I apply will it be success? I not very sure if I meet one of the requirement which is 12x monthly salary .
