ok scb cso just called me. there is a delay bcos my payslip. now it solved, still in processing. positive sign he said but no guarantee. result within this week. pls pray for me bro and sis.

I actually told the CSO from SCB my interest and the lady told me HZ stand no chance... but i told her to see first my payment cycle... she is very helpful tho... i have diners which already paid in full but still reflects in CBS... So she politely told me to call diners to remove the status... however, diners inform me this will take abt 2 months... well maybe i should just wait and go for the better bank instead... cimb is from 2.77% which is in my first list to apply later

what happened to your dinners, why have to pay in full? so far i read the forum 600 pages plus, never see anyone approved with cimb, but maybe not much people applied this bank also.

The monthly installment of $600 is 10% of your net salary (after 20% CPF deduction)? Do you have MoneyLenders debts? If you don't want public to know pls PM me. I am going to the same route as you, hope can get more advice.

The way u sound really desperate. Banks are all out to suck you dry, they dun care whether you pay until no money to feed your family. The last thing you want to lose is your dignity.

During my application for the DRS which I think took about 5 mths, I stop paying my debt. The banks call and ask me, harass me with letters etc. I just reply I not paying and there's nth they can do. The feeling is quite different. Last time you beg them, now they begging you to pay

Coz the balance less than 400 but still reflect in CBS bcos more than 300 so i just paid...
I dont know till i see my report last month.

I saw reviews about DCP.. this review mentioned that u can go for DCP with CIMB if you cannot get approval from other banks...
Last resort maybe?

I used to think i dont want to pay but as i grow older, when i owe/borrow monies, i should return back and somehow you will feel better bro...

so cimb adv themselves as last bank will offer dcp to those get rejected by all banks? hmm...sure approve? wonder why they need you to have cc with them prior apply dcp. if in debt so much, cc still will approve at this stage? a bit funny lah this cimb...applied cc with them long ago before so many debt still rejected, dun think now will approve my cc. plus, i dont want any cc liao.

Just commenced my DRS today. My total debt of 70+k now only need pay $600 per mth for 57 mths. You all dun waste time skipping from one bank to the other bank. Every time you refinance, you need pay the fees to do so and your interest rate still high and your debt liability still never decrease a lot.

how does the process of DRS take ?? I read online that u have to pay the fees for this so do u have to pay the fees first before they can approve your DRS application???

You must first get all your documents ready such as your cpf, bills and other proof of expenditures. Then you file for bankruptcy first. The fee is quite minimum consider your debt is cut by a lot if DRS is approved.

It's quite complicated that you most likely won't succeed if you do it yourself. I engaged the help of a debt consultancy firm, pay them the consultant fee and they settle all the paperwork for me. They know u are in debt so their fee also not high.

DRS processing takes about 5 to 6 mths. The fees is not one shot pay all. It's pay along the process.

Anyone applied Citibank dcp? I applied sometime last week and despite furnishing my letter of employment issued by my co, they still need to call my HR to confirm. They told me is their policy and I do no wish to let my co know so much. I was asking for alternative and they told me cannot. Anyone encounter this?
They called my Co direct line despite me giving the contact Of HR person. Citi couldn’t get hold of the extension line that my reception gave. Now my CSo tell me my application might not go thru because of this. This is so stupid and frustrating!!!

Dun bother. The sales person dun earn much from dcp that's why they not pushing for it.

They will also ask u to take up another loan first rather than ask u to consider dcp.

i dont want anymore loan to further this problem. sad, no one give me a chance. i never late in payment, sometimes i even paid more than min, but yet still rejected.

It doesn't mean anything to them. I tried once for dcp even when my credit rating is AA but still rejected. Then I went for DRS and see who's laughing now
