3 yrs warranty is like $300+ which i dunno how to justify the cost for it. adding up all the modifications with the 3 yrs warranty, it gets around $3400Diavonex said:The DELL Inspiron 9400 is an excellent replacement for a desktop.
It's 2GB Dual channel memory, 256MB ATI Redion and 17" screen is ideal for playing games.
Disadvantage: It's heavy 3.5kg
I'll go for the 3 year warranty.

Hmnn... sorry, i quote a noobie in term of LCD and i just purchase a 640m.
I m quite annoyed by the bright patch on top and the dark patch below (highlighted areas) during normal usage in windows.
Is it normal for the LCD??? Pls advice...![]()
*. Pls ignore the bright pixel, it is from my Dig cam...

My previous Dell Inspiron 9300 suffered from that, but after a month or so it went away by itself...

Any ideal how much it cost?

Quite a good price...
I configure a 6400 to those spec, will be close. Come with 2 GB Ram, true to life display, and a professional graphic card with dunno how much RAM....... hard disk size... and it would be close to $3 300. Add in XP Pro, and magnesium casing...... no horse run I feel...
